The present ethical make-up of congress and wall street pretty much resemble the depiction of same in Ayn Rand's opus on the corruption of capitalism. Much like Orwell painted an accurate picture of English statist soialism in the UK - maybe the power elite are using these books as blueprints for government and economics.

Reid and others of his ilk have never been nor will ever be bothered by their hypocrisy. All the BS they spew is for their personal power, prestige and wealth and has nothing to do with political service or concern for constituents, except those who bankroll them.

All the Koch brothers have to do is contribute to Reid's campaign and he will shut up immediately about them.

Like the mainstream media, they have differing standards for those politics they agree or disagree with. This leads to slanted reporting, selective outrage and ultimately the death of the dinosaur mediocracy who have lost their monopoly on the message thanks to blogs such as SDA and other competition.

Having said that, even the most treasured progressive politician can lose their support and cover; witness JT's idiotic ISIS war/CF18 comments - they can only offer cover for so long, especially during an election, though Candy Crowley has set a new low/standard, protecting her player in the game with clearly biased "moderation" of debates.

Sometimes the media will even turn on its darlings - remember Paul Martin Jr? They turned on him, not so much because of Harper's policy a day election campaign, but because the hangers on in the Martin troupe were getting scooped by their compatriots elsewhere.

For that there can be no forgiveness from the mediocracy.

Yeah well, methinks the donkeys are gettin' too bold and a world o' hurt is comin. The question is where is the line, the spark in the powder keg?.....

Americans, still the majority, are revolting people....minorities are still minorities......

I use the term "emotional event" but most call it war....ain't nothin' civil about civil war.
