J. Frank Wilson & The Cavaliers' only hit is simple in writing and execution, but it's catchy and memorable: From 1964, here's the car-radio hors d'oeuvre Last Kiss.

Delaware State University professor tells Liberians that the US Department of Defense "manufactured" Ebola.

"There is a need to pursue criminal and civil redress for damages."

Shot for the crime of driving with driver's license aforethought, with aggravated politeness.

Dave Foley's ex-wife proves that it's easy to write uninteresting, scattered, unfunny, self-indulgent, almost unreadable drivel when you no longer have to worry about money.

Black Muslim convert beheads fellow worker, and stabs another when fired from job at Oklahoma meat packing plant.

Muslims converting blacks for the jihad in America is the 'elephant-in-the-room' everyone is pretending to ignore. This incident is only the beginning.
That's the Muslim modus operandi. They always recruit the ignorant thugs first; they're easy converts. The thugs are then used to exact reprisals on anyone who opposes the Muslim agenda. Will Americans remain complacent when Muslim gangs rape 'infidel' girls like they're doing in Eurabia?

Of course Bourque would never admit who these KEY Conservatives are from Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, etc. now would he. If, and one must draw a deep breath, -- If this is true the West is done.

"...That being said, in recent days, a number of key Conservatives in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver have confided to Bourque they envision a late-winter announcement that the PM will step down, triggering a spring leadership convention to choose his successor....."

Re: The Last Kiss

One of the saddest songs ever written. Think of the many people who died in car accidents and saw their loved ones take a last breath.

I recall the black and white 16 MM films we got in high school that were supposed to teach us driving safety. Many were made by California Highway Patrol, and were so bad some of the students left the hall.

This one however is different. It warns young boys against homos. A different time and way of thinking.

This is under "health" instead of under "disease". So many parallels with ancient Rome before it all collapsed.

I think the underreported story of the day is the Chicago Air Traffic Control (ATC) fire / sabotage. Unless O'Hare and Midway are back to 100% this weekend, there are going to be a lot of unhappy flyers next week. United, Southwest and anyone that uses O'Hare for a hub is going to be scrambling.

...and that's just from a disgruntled employee. It shows how fragile and un-secure the US air transport system is.

Synopsis. Guy hits parked car- kills girlfriend- blames God

I heard him say this yesterday afternoon on CFRA. If Stephen Harper stepped down now, Justin is just in; it will give the country to the liberals.

@EBD: I looked up the faculty for Delaware State University just to see what I would find. This man is an intellectual lightweight. In my view, he is a shining example of affirmative action and symbolic of what is wrong with American Universities these days. I was especially drawn to his research publications...........

See for yourself. http://www.desu.edu/sites/default/files/cbroderick.pdf

More black "We are victims of the white devils" thinking. I presume he still holds Liberian citizenship but I don't see him running back there to help improve Liberian agriculture.

Excellent commentary by Bill Maher

This is really really good.

If we get him on our side, we are winning.

There would be no reason for Harper to step down at this point -- unless he is getting sick of the perpetual abuse, for which I would not blame him. As the world situation heats up, Harper looks stronger and Justin looks weaker. I do hope the rumour is not true. Liberals are not ready to govern.

@old lori: Bill Maher is now and has always been an AZZole. Just because he woke up a little after 10 years of slamming conservatives for their common sense does not make me think any more highly of him than I did before.

Don't worry. He'll revert to form on his next show.

I know what Maher is about. However, he's an opinion leader in the progressive-sphere, and this is bound to have some impact if he follows up on it. I'd rather have him wake up now, than wake up just as he is about to be beheaded. Few other liberals/conservatives have woken up, even now.

The test is if this is a one-off thing and he never mentions it again (perhaps because of pressure he gets from his network or threats) or whether it becomes a regular theme. If he becomes as good at mocking Islam as he does the Republicans, I'll get some respect for him.

Rex Murphy eloquently states the obvious, though the term treason doesn't appear once:

Glad to see someone else shares my opinion of that song!

"The Hell of Treblinka
By Vasily Semyonovich Grossman (1905–1964)"

"To the East of Warsaw, along the Western Bug, lie sands and swamps, and thick evergreen and deciduous
forests. These places are gloomy and deserted; there are few villages. Travelers try to avoid the narrow roads,
where walking is difficult and cartwheels sink up to the axle in the deep sand.

Here, on the branch line to Siedlce, stands the remote station of Treblinka. It is a little over sixty kilometers from Warsaw and not far from the junction station of Małkinia, where the lines from Warsaw, Białystok, Siedlce, and Łomza all meet.

Many of those who were brought to Treblinka in 1942 may have had reason to pass this way in peaceful
times. Gazing abstractedly at the dull landscape ..."

Bang on. If "must-read" has an opposite, Tabatha Southey is it.

I love that you have such a variety of things to say. We used to sing this song in the 60's albeit with revised racy lyrics.
