I have arrived, probably later than most, the POTUS presently in office is an example of arrested development when it comes to understanding the difference between truth and fantasy.

Of course he could take the approach of "what the meaning of is-is". I don't mean ISIS. The is-is reference goes back to POTUS Slick Willy. Somehow Slick Willy recalled the is-is discussion from Ancient Greece, not sure if the discussion was Plato using Socrates or Aristotle refuting Plato.

Ho hum!

I vote doesn't read it . and doesn't listen to briefings especially if there is a mirror or any other reflective surface in the room.

There was no intelligence failure, the reports contain all the information needed.

There is however, a COMPREHENSION failure.

If the information doesn't fit your ideology then maybe the correct thought is to question the veracity of one's ideology. This however requires self reflective capacity, which in this case is simply absent.

When I heard the clip when Oblamea blamed the intelligence officers I thought "How would he know he doesn't do intelligence briefings".

That quote "Either the president doesn't read the intelligence he's getting or he's bullshitting," should read "The president doesn't read the intelligence he's getting AND he's bullshitting,

After listening to Obama on 60 Minutes I think the man is in over his head but he has the great ability to orate,the "bullshit" flows freely, a dangerous combination. Look at his eyes, he's winging it. I do hope Canada thinks very carefully about any request for help in the ME from this lame duck President, we need to lead, make our own decisions.

First thing is to clean up on the Islamist terrorists who are already living among us and do not allow those who leave to return.We should not be sending our special forces anywhere in the ME to train what could possibly be our enemies down the road.

Given that he doesnt get briefed face to face, by choice as documented by Gates, then it has to be he doesnt read or doesnt undersatnd what he reads.

The more troubling point is this is intentional and we see this play out, it allows him deniability. It wasnt there, we werent told, the PDB stays classified unless there is some inquiry.

ANd apparently Clapper is willing to say it was his fault, either he briefs him or Clapper is blaming his own agency. Of course true to form, even if it is Clapper nobody will be fired. Obama will "forgive him" and Clapper cant hold anyone else accountable as they had done their job. And the culture of impunity and non-accontability grows.

Obama is the personifivpcation od BullShit .... He does not want to kill fellow muslims ... I think he sees a place for himself in the caliphate. Start by replacing bang key moon then go from there ... Other than galactic regent, there aren't many suitable positions left for such a high level bullshitter.

So unless Obama renounces his citizenship, (forgetting that controversy for a second) he is not allowed to serve as Sec Gen of UN. It is my understanding that no member of the Sec Council may serve as Sec Gen. Would Obama give up the US. veto....oh heck why wouldnt he, nothing about removing the US from positions of power by this guy surprises me.

Galactic Regent is, of course, a different matter.......

So. I have to ask. If O-dumber can use this excuse and blame these people, can Bush use that too when it came to WMD that were not found.

There is an aspect to this story that I failed to
mention, and that is President Merkin Muffly's
blaming his intelligence agency for his failures.

This man has to be mind-numbingly stupid if he does
not see a down side to tossing the intelligence
community under the bus.

There are two recent incidents that I can use to
illustrate the point;

In Sanford Florida, the local police declined to
prosecute George Zimmerman because the evidence
showed that he fired the shot that killed Trayvon
Martin in self defense. The "Justice Brothers,"
(The Rearend Jesse Jackass and Tawana Sharpton)
were calling the Sanford PD incompetent or corrupt
for not charging Zimmerman.

In Ferguson Missouri, it was the same story. A
Gentle Giant "was shot in the back 10 times with
his hands in the air."

In both cases, the police departments opted to leak
information in order to correct the record in the
court of public opinion. They had no choice.

The intelligence agencies know every warning they
sent in the presidential briefings. I would not
be surprised to see some of this information leaked!

No, he gets it; he's getting the intelligence. People are not giving Obama enough "credit". I think he knows EXACTLY what he is saying and doing, and it maddens me to no end that hardly anyone is taking him at his word.

Just like, coincidentally speaking, Islamists do.

He may be provided with the intelligence briefings, he is just not interested in reading them or attending them. The details of being POTUS are just so tiresome for his superior being.

Aw, come on. He didn't know about it until he read about in the papers.

Perhaps they should consider putting the intelligence reports on a teleprompter.
It has been documented that he doesn't attend intel meetings because he's doing far more important things like golfing and going on talk shows. Of course "60 Minutes" didn't challenge him on that, they could have said something along the lines of "How can you put down the intel when you can't be bothered to show up to the meetings?". Seems like an obvious question for such a powerhouse journalistic show to come up with.

Re-read Obama's speech a Al-Ahzar University in Cairo and at the United Nations endorsing the Sharia Law of Blasphemy.

A claim of ignorance from someone who was raised Muslim, and whose head of the CIA is a Muslim convert... not so credible.

From someone whose actions led Ghaddafi's arsenal to fall into the hands of Sunni Jihadis... not so credible.
