*SLOW AND LOUD CLAPPING* Good job BiBi.

If people don't know by now that Islamic fundamentalism poses the greatest danger to the world, then they are willfully blind.

Obviously less than a full house for his audience. The situation reminds me of a speech made years ago by a guy called Haille Selassie.

Bibi hits a home run.

That being said, as Kate says, why are we a part of this thing?

"Obviously less than a full house for his audience."

This was the heart of the "critique" by my Liberal friends and colleagues of Prime Minister Harper's speech to the UN, given that even they were hard pressed to find anything in that speech about which to complain.

Further to what Kate says,

Why is any western civilised nation apart of this expensive charade?

At least Canada isn’t contributing to the facade called the UNHRC, true world leadership from your government sadly not repeated else where.

They need an Oliver Cromwell moment for sure.

A well spoken and obvious truth, at least to those with half a functioning brain and that seems to exclude many from the left.

Wow! Truth. Facts. Common Sense. More Truth. Until you hear those elements in a speech, you forget how long it has been.....

Bibi hits a home run is right.

I listened to this speech on 114 FoxNews on XM radio while driving. It was a great speech that told it like it is. Trouble is that most of the world is on the side of Hamas and Islamic terrorism, including two of our political parties.

Good speech I though. Sad to see a mostly empty house. Should have put on the agenda that ham sandwiches and beer were being served at the Israel hospitality suite afterwards I guess.

Netanyahu's words were meant for the US audience not the average degenerate representing ME and African basket cases or his less subtle enemies. He puts most national leaders to shame. The take-away is that Obama won't come clean with his worldview so Netanyahu is doing the job that US Democrats and too many Republicans refuse to do.

Yep, that would be a 'swinging for the fences' Grand Slam.

Cheers

The UN Terrorist Rights Council. I like that. He does a good job of weaving together all forms of Islamism under one world caliphate banner. Militant and Islam.

I take issue with one point. IMO one can't equate Iran and IS possessing nuclear weapons. IS would be far more dangerous because they cannot be deterred like Iran; still a dangerous situation because Iran could use Shiite Islamists as a proxy for nuclear attacks. Israel, however, won't make that distinction and if subjected to a nuclear attack will react in kind themselves. Once the threshold for nuclear weapons use is breached, we enter a new and extremely dangerous escalation. We cannot leave Israel to their own devices on this, it's way too risky to any hope for peace in that region and for the world.

His point about turning the rules of war upside down is also telling and speaks to the hypocrisy of the UN and the "progressives."

Israel has faced the Islamist death cult longer than anyone and should be viewed as an example of that and how to deal with it.

Sadly that won't happen. Without boots on the ground Iraq will likely fall to IS - but if they are foolish enough to attack Israel they will be slaughtered by IDF boots on the ground.

Unfortunately we are in a lose lose situation - lose our young people and treasure and lose support among fundamentalist Islam. We, however, have no choice at this point.

I know - clear as mud:

"Are you confused by what is going on in the Middle East? Let me explain. We support the Iraqi government in the fight against the Islamic State. We don’t like IS, but IS is supported by Saudi Arabia, whom we do like. We don’t like President Assad in Syria. We support the fight against him, but not IS, which is also fighting against him.

We don’t like Iran, but Iran supports the Iraqi government against IS. So, some of our friends support our enemies and some of our enemies are our friends, and some of our enemies are fighting against our other enemies, whom we want to lose, but we don’t want our enemies who are fighting our enemies to win.

If the people we want to defeat are defeated, they might be replaced by people we like even less. And all this was started by us invading a country to drive out terrorists who weren’t actually there until we went to drive them out? Do you understand now?" Aubrey Bailery.

Good On Benjamin...one of the few that gets it....its like fighting the Terminator...it just doesn't stop.

Personally I would like to see the following.

A removal of all Islamics from this country.
An end to Islamic Immigration.
All Mosques to be destroyed - send the Imans home
A complete withdrawal of all Western entities from the Middle East...in the very least, North American ones.

then an Ultimatum...Leave us alone or we will obliterate all 1.3 Billion of you..1 Nuke after another till you get it...capiche.??

Period.
