Gaza, the ME's Cuba

When a place is run by thugs, people flee.

These people have been a problem where ever they end up. Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and the West Bank. Most times politics reflect the society. I have little sympathy and certainly hope that Canada does not take refugees.

Let them go to Saudi Arabia. After all it is the Saudis who have financed most of the radical jihadist movements.

I agree. We do not need them here to add numbers to the fifth column that already is causing so much trouble in Canada.

Bubye!

All empires and governments end this way.
In Detroit and High River you can just walk out for the time being.

I seem to remember Michael Totten writing in one of his pieces referenced on this site that the worst thing that ever happened to Hezbollah in Lebanon was -- they won. At that point, they had to actually run something that was at least nominally constructive. It's been a disaster. Their credibility is completely in the tank and no one can wait to see the last of them. It would seem the same befalls Hamas in Gaza. Since they've been in charge, they can no longer simply promise, they have to actually deliver. Epic fail.

It is instructive that they are trying to escape to Europe. Their co religionists in nearby countries consider them vermin and would ship them back to Gaza.

Not to mention all that lovely welfare money to had in Europe. Roaches gonna roach.

I read a story by P.J. O'Rourke about his riding with the
cops in armored cars in Northern Ireland. One of the
things he related was the high level of criminal
activities by the IRA. You could think of it as an
Irish Mafia. The IRA guys had nice cars, home stereo
systems, fancy homes, etc.

Back in the old days under Yasser Arafat it was the
same as it was in Northern Ireland. There was
systematic corruption from from top to bottom.
You could hardly take a crap without paying some-
one a bribe. When he was in exile in Tunisia,
Arafat ran one the largest stolen car rings in
the world.

Talking to a generic Arab who lived there, he
described the same fancy cars and homes that the
PLO thugs lived in. One Arab American billionaire
decided to help them by building a plant to employ
the so-called "Palestinians." The guy threw his
hands up and walked away due the numbers of people
with their hands out expecting bribes.

All of these terrorist groups are de facto criminal
enterprises.

To be quite frank and honest, I don't care if they drown. As far as I'm concerned one less future Muslim citizen of the ISIS Caliphate and they won't be able to have children to become tomorrows jihadists. They wouldn't care if I die so I'll just keep playing my tiny violin. Right now the fate of civilization is a numbers game until everyone who isn't part of the cult of death decides to be proactive.

I got to work beside an Israeli immigrant and a Lebanese immigrant in the mid 70's.
These guys tolerated each other.

Not thugs, not useless. Decent folk.

I'd want to leave the ME too. You?

''How sad for the good families who must escape to avoid brutality, corruption, even death at the hands of Hamas. Pray for them.''

From the comments at the link.

You folks go ahead,God doesn't pay attention to me.

The Palestinians belong to one of 3 countries, Jordan, Syria Saudi Arabia. That is where they should be headed for.

None of the above want them of course.

It's an artificial problem that has gotten out of hand.

abtrapper, you are correct. It has gotten out of hand. There
were no such people as Arab "Palestinians" prior to 1948. Up
until that time the entire region surrounding Jewish Palestine
was populated by generic Arabs.

The truly brain-dead historical illiterates will insist that
the biblical Philistines were the ancestors of the so-called
modern day Arab "Palestinians." The problem with this argument
is that the Philistines predated Arab culture, Islam, and were
not even from the Middle East. They were foreign invaders,
probably from Crete (Which is in Europe.)

Sounds like Bob Raes Ontario, every things easy until your the person in charge.
