I watched the September 15 show, and it was a devastating expose on what a celebrity airhead Trudeau is. It's unfortunate that couple of brief over-the-top moments and a couple of not very well chosen words, have given the Progs a chance to redirect/erase the larger context.

Wrt the wedding photo, everyone who is getting the vapours about Ezra's comments should try to visualize Stephen Harper in that same photo-op, to imagine him not simply kissing a bride on her wedding day, but sort of sensually nuzzling her ear with his nose.

Seriously. Linger over the photo for a solid minute, and imagine it's Stephen Harper instead of Justin Trudeau. What would be the - nationwide - reaction?

I think of Prince William and Prince Harry having to hear and re-hear the failings of their parents, especially their mother. To determine if one has been disrespectful first develop the means test.
The "attacker" and the target should be looked at to see if either one will be held in lower esteem by their peers.
Then did either one have any respect to retain.
Ezra I will admit was caustic, but he was truthful, and he is willing to take some personal risk to his pride on occassion like when he wades into an openly hostile crowd to ask them questions the other media will not.
Justin has on occassion displayed a lack of judgement on many occassions, responded to softball questions with flippant or inappropriate remarks, and avoids risk whenever possible by avoiding questions that someone running for PM should be able to congugate a coherent response to.
The response from Justin's peers, such as the malicious female referred to demonstrate that his "respect" is not based on a history of accomplishment but on a myth. A myth constructed on an improbable world view that can be deconstructed if exposed to the truth of Pierre Trudeau's behaviour and actual record.
Justin can only be as pure as the driven snow or considered prime ministerial if the Trudeau myth is maintained.
What Ezra has revealed is that if you threaten the myth, the justin supporters are faced with the reality that there isn't anything there to support other nostalgia based on a fabrication.
Their chosen one is supposed to be just like his father, Ezra described his father to a tee, and that is not part of the media script.
Pierre is supposed to be revered as the best dad in the world, not some womanizing philander that could use the RCMP detail as a daycare service.
