  1. This was not a surprise, but very unwelcome news. Thoughts and prayers with and for the mayor and his family.

  2. http://sarcomahelp.org/liposarcoma.html
Liposarcoma prognosis is reported based on disease subtype. Five-year disease specific survival rates (chances of not dying from cancer-related causes) are as follows: 100% in well-differentiated liposarcoma, 88% in myxoid liposarcoma, and 56% in pleomorphic liposarcoma. Ten-year survival rates are 87% in well-differentiated liposarcoma, 76% in myxoid liposarcoma and 39% in pleomorphic liposarcoma.
Roger that, and that Rob numbers among the select 39%…
    Cheers

  3. Go to the mat with this fight Rob!
Been there and done that although in my case there is no treatment or surgery that’s going to help. I already beat the joker out of two years and I intend to beat the bastard out of some more.
Ford can expect a lot more of life!

  4. Best of luck to Rob Ford, he’s a tough cookie to have put up with what the pounding. The two faced/hypocrites, his opponents, the media who hounded him mercilessly, should remain silent, anything they say will be hollow, won’t resonate with people with human compassion. He had his demons but really did no harm to anyone but himself and I’m sure his family had a tough time with the whole circus as well.

  5. Rob Ford, good luck with this fight.
As far as comments from lefty slime are concerned, I remember the leftist vitriol and joy when George Bush’s press guy, Tony Snow, was diagnosed with and died from cancer.
Leftists are scum all the time.

  6. A prayer or two would not harm the man. I wonder though if him being this sick is what crated a lot of his behavior problems? mY condolences to him& his family. It will be a broken road a head.

  7. Is it only my imagination, or the same media circus following Rob Ford right now was really religious about the privacy of the late Jack Layton, who was dying live on TV screens during the last Federal Campaign and NOBODY seem to notice, or dare to ask any question? The cane was just a cute addition to the noble image of a serious and experienced statesman, who could even become a Prime Minister.

  8. Not at all surprising. Obese people generally have higher cancer rates than those who are thin and fit.

  9. I wish Rob Ford well, He is a good man who was good for Toronto. He deserves the best from
    God and man.

  10. Best of luck Rob Ford you exposed the Toronto media and the CBC for the blathering incompetent fools that they are. Its an outrage the these scum are allowed to pose as journalists and influence the low info voters as they do. You are a fighter and you can beat this.

  11. Now, now. One is forgetting how even the laws of physics don’t apply to the great liberal city-state of Toronto, let alone scruples. One man was a mayor immigrants had great support for and the other was a sleazy man who lived in low-income housing with his equally cheapskate wife. By Toronto liberal standards, the latter was a saint. To thinking and feeling human beings elsewhere, the former is far more tolerable.

  12. I almost gagged on the hypocrisy. if hypocrisy caused one to cease to exist then Toronto would have a lot of empty spaces today.

  13. The Liberal Left butchers millions of black people for breakfast, what do they care about 1 white conservative male that kept their city fiscally alive?
Granted I believe Rob Ford, was a piss poor example for any leadership role with his admitted drug use, but what does the left care about that? Drug addicted felons are normally Liberal cult hero’s in any other situation.
He just wasn’t black enough to mask their murderous racism, and had to go.
