    OTTAWA — Canadians have handed the Harper government a Top 10 list of the country’s greatest heroes, featuring some of the Conservative party’s greatest adversaries, past and present.
    The list, compiled from online consultations in the run-up to Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017, includes Pierre Trudeau, Jack Layton, David Suzuki and Lester B. Pearson.

If any of you have clicked on CBC.Ca this weekend, and even more so if you`ve clicked on their political section, you`ll most likely understand the level of desperation that the federal government funded network has reached. This was my comment at CBC.Ca after reading another “Lets bash Rob Ford“ article.

If you add up all of the stories such as this one that are on this site today, you have at least seven that are nothing more that ”bashing the right.” Do you really believe that in a country where at least 10 major Cdn newspapers and 5 Cdn networks are made available online, and another 200 American networks that are on satellite and cable, that bashing a man who is making efforts at improving his life will earn the CBC brownie points with their viewers? At the rate you`re going now, your ratings are most likely lower than Rob Ford`s, so perhaps you need to change your story lines. Meanwhile, when a Cdn event takes place, (IE: Moncton RCMP shooting) we have to go to CNN to get the real facts.” (End of quote.

    Warren Kinsella says that anybody who claims to have seen the Wynne victory coming is “a damned liar”.
    I guess Warren doesn’t monitor this site anymore,as several of us here at SDA predicted a Wynne win,even a majority long before the election.
    Maybe Kinsella figures the opinions of people who aren’t pollsters or pundits are not worthy of consideration.

D’OHHHH!!!! — WELL?????? — THAT REALLY WORKED WELL DIDN’T IT??? D’OHHHHH
    To be fair she was not Secretary of State when the proverbial shit hit the fan — but the American Government, same administration — made this confirmation of a promise.

Russia is criticizing Ukraine becusae it’s Foreign Minister went in front of a crowd bent on burning down the Russian Embassy in Kyiv after the horrific loss of 49 Ukrainian miltary personnel shot down by Russian GRU spetznatz troops operating in Ukraine shot down (using stinger type missles only available in Russia) a Ukrainian IL 76 transport plane re-enforcing airborne regiment holding on to the Luhanks airfield in Ukraine and basically said — yes I know Putin is a dickhead (a famous Ukrainian soccer fan slogan) and said this was not right and difussed the crowd. Russians are upset because he said the truth that Putin was a dickhead — very true. 🙂 LoL
