  1. but, but… of course they’re important. They know they are. It shows them so, right on their screen. Doesn’t everyone else in the world see what’s on their screen?
    I’m not a twit-face (twitter / facebook user) so I don’t know if there is actually an effort to #FaceReality that these socially “conscious” tweeters can be sent to.

  2. Freedom of speech for all is vital despite, not because of, what the vast majority have to say (i.e. nothing worth hearing.)

  3. Wasn’t this the same opinion offered by certain media “professionals” in regard to bloggers and their followers? Or something like it.
    Possible upside … it might keep the easily distracted off of blog sites they lack the capacity to participate in.

The virtual cult who waste their lives twittering are probably responsible for the death of our very rich and expressive language – 140 character abbreviation of complex concepts has given the feeble minded trog (with no capacity for construct articulation nor anything particularly important to communicate) a place to rule in their abbreviated thinking/language/consciousness.
    Even the old news groups helf more intellectual worth than twitter.
