  1. Re: Photoshop.
I was raised in a small Saskatchewan rural community. As far back as the 1940`s, a local photographer took pictures of weddings, grads, etc.
He was the classic stereotype with the twin reflex camera and a homemade lighting system.
He always touched up the B+W photos before selling them. Photoshopping pics and drawings goes back centuries.
That`s why in some pics–Jean Chrétien appears to be speaking from both sides of his mouth, and the Cyclops have one eye in the middle of their forehead.

    Not our problem anymore:
    http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Albany-will-pay-homeless-to-leave-Bulb-5424816.php

Albany will pay 28 homeless people $3,000 each to leave the Bulb, a former landfill along San Francisco Bay that’s slated for parkland, according to a settlement released Wednesday.

The agreement, between the city and a homeless advocacy group, calls for Bulb residents to leave the property by Friday, along with their pets and belongings, and stay away at least a year.

    They’re your problem now:

Neumann said many of the Bulb’s residents, some of whom have lived there for more than 15 years, will relocate to Berkeley or Richmond.

I don’t know how you can be called “homeless” when you have lived in a landfill for decades and have pets. That’s not homeless, that’s a lifestyle choice.

This reminds me of a story my Dad used to tell. When he first was in the Crown land lease office in Regina, in the 50’s, there were two people working there. The head man and an assistant.
Thirty years later there were whole floors of people in the same department. Plus satellite agencies in every town of consequence.
There’s no more land in Saskatchewan than there was in the 50’s.

An interview with Wayne Hage, who experienced the same persecution as Cliven Bundy. Hage won in the courts, but it broke him. Hage backs up what Bundy says, the BLM have no right to charge grazing fees.
The law, in the western states, is clear. Whoever owns the water rights on open land, owns the right to use the grazing the water can service.
The bit about the ‘wild’ horses and burros is interesting as well. Being as there is no such thing as a ‘wild’ horse.
