Operation Empty Chair

‘You live in NY, I live in Syria.’

Muallem painted a bleak picture when describing the many perils the Syrian people are currently enduring, while accusing some foreign nations, including Turkey, of supporting terrorists in Syria. But the coalition – which mostly consists of self-exiled Syrians who have not been in the country for years – was the subject of particular scorn.
As the minister was blasting the SNC for selling their allegiance to the highest bidder and enjoying a comfortable life in five-star hotels while people died on the ground in Syria, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon interrupted the speech, asking whether he needed much time to wrap it up.

  1. That’s how Ban Ki-moon operates?
    Pathetic!
It’s been asked before…why are we still a member of the UN?

  2. Everything I’ve read indiates that the US has undercut its own process and the UN is ineffectual especially with Russia and China on the Security Council. And Kerry is an ass!

  3. Just not sure how Ban Ki-moon trying to move the time grabbing Minister along in his diatribe is a negative. Appreciate someone pointing out what I am missing. Cheers;

  4. The nerve of that Syrian, speaking truth to the Useless Nitwits of the world, as they pretend to help his country while dividing up the spoils.
Why is Canada still part of this thing?
We should be rounding its members up under racketeering laws.
Especially the ones that junket here on our money.

  5. You are missing the fact that the people who actually live in Syria might have a viewpoint that is opposed to the viewpoint of those who do not live there. One that is not the same as that of the Muslim Brotherhood. Simple isn’t it?

  6. I keep noticing the elephant in the room. At the root of this discussion, the reality is muslims killing muslims in Syria. We should all just shut the F up and watch the show. Both sides are as evil as they come and when they done with each other, they will come for us …. or is there anyone here who doesn’t already know that.

  7. The fix is in, the UN has been paid to turn a blind eye. Obama patrons from the MIC have paid for the Us state dept to invade Syria – or at least drone bomb and strafe there. BamBam likes automated war he’s said as much – less US casualties to explain to voters and more ordnance orders for government cronies.

  8. I would agree except that Assad more or less let Christians live in peace, unlike the MB and the eaters of men’s livers. The biggest losers in all these conflicts are Christians and moderate Muslims.
Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, name the country where any dictator has been overthrown that the lot of Christians has improved? You can’t because there aren’t any.
The best thing about any dictator is that they care about power above all else. Why should we support the MB and its backers in the west? How disgusting is it, that any leader in the western world, would support a bunch of gay hating, Jew hating, Christian hating, women hating, sixth century barbarians?
I wonder if the west has not lost its collective sanity and if truly there is anything worth saving in this world!

  9. When it comes to muslims killing muslims the wise man provides arms and ammo to all sides.
