The Toronto District School Boards Gender Independent Groups (GIG and GIG2) are groups where children and youth who are gender independent, trans*, or exploring their gender identity can come together in a supportive and affirming space. Our programs provide opportunities for parents/guardians of children who express gender independence to meet and discuss their experiences of navigating the gendered world in which we live. Children and youth are also provided with a safe space to meet and express themselves in an affirming and inclusive environment.
The first group, “GIG”, is for kids from Kindergarten to Grade 5.

If you have a GIG as part of your local school board then you are definitely paying too much in local taxes. School boards have no business trying to help your kids identify their genders. I would suspect that there are too many people being employed at the TDSB if they have enough people to staff a GIG when they have kids who cannot read or are poor at math.

This is not a difficult subject. The perpetual boner I had from the age of 10 to 20 when I was in the presence of females and the lack thereof in the presence of males was a big clue. Had I expressed a desire to play with dolls rather than kill things imaginatively or literally, I can only hope that I got the proper attitude adjustment from siblings rather than counseling. But people don’t have siblings anymore.

the greatest “population” control happens to be fiscal success. When ppl have money to do things they want, rather than just meet bills, they don’t want to be encumbered by “children”. there is alittle known secret in alberta most don’t realize but my church has…..we have a publicly funded “program of choice” aka a Christian program in the public school system.
our first year no one knew about it and so we just had enough to fill the classrooms.
second year under way ….there is a waiting list and yes people are even moving from Calgary to my city JUST to have a chance at this. It is perfectly legal in alberta but not in anyother provinces.
wait till the word get’s out across the nation. school fees are slightly higher simply because we have our pastor who spends a few hours a week with the kids, the teachers must MUST, be practicing Christians ,and have proof from there church pastor that they attend regularly, in addition they also MUST agree to teach the the faith (Lutheran) that is program is centered around.

Although correlation does not always mean cause, it most certainly exists 100% where cause is proven-an overused and inaccurate cliche at best.
Income and the fact that it takes both parents to work to afford a mortgage, certainly does play a role in deciding the number of children a couple decide to have, to think otherwise is not rational. The drop in birth rates coincided with the introduction and access of birth control and abortion, there is noway to remove those factors if you want to present honest data. Birth rates dropped precipitously nearing the end of 60’s and have remained low. To state that birth-control, abortion, and economic factors have no negative impact on birth rates is disingenuous at best. The global economy has been in a boom and bust cycle since the late 60’s, by the 80’s, it became nearly impossible for a couple to survive on one income.

my friend has 3 siblings lived in a 2 bedroom house his dad made a couple bedrooms in the basement out of sheet rock and some 2×4’s and paint…I know this cus I also lived there that’s 5 kids 7 mouths to feed and he did it on his own working construction how? they bought a house that was 60k in the 80’s and still live there today. what was once cramped is now a mansion to them . but you don’t get that.
