  1. You should check out @gmbutts twitter timeline, he’s blaming this on Sun News and the fact Justin has to walk his five year old home from school. Which makes me wonder if he shakes his hand..?..

  2. Anybody that has been watching Question Period for the last month would have to agree it is a waste of time and blame rests solely on the opposition who kept asking the same repetitive questions and making same accusations.
Parliament was a disgrace and Trudeau played it smart and let Mulcair carry the ball and he is going to take most of the heat for making Question Period a shambles.
Trudeau playing the part of making parliament civil and Mulcair in tirades and being most uncivil.
It is my opinion that Trudeau was the big winner over Mulcair.
Harper come through as cool and steady and never lost his temper and his story essentially never changed.

  3. Let’s see. I would have to guess fund-raising and video gaming ….. He is just a big kid you know. Obama is a big kid too.

  4. Forgive him, he’s a busy man. After all it takes a lot of time out of his day meeting with all those scientists and other deep thinkers so that he will know what he thinks the next time he’s asked a scripted question.

  5. “There have been 34 question periods in the House of Commons since the throne speech on Oct. 16 …. All told, Trudeau skipped 22 question periods — or about one in three.”
since when is 22 out of 34 one in three? He didn’t skip ‘about one in three’ he was only present for ‘about one in three’
From the math is hard crowd and our intellectual superiors.

  6. As much as I despise the pony, I have to give him a pass on this.
Perhaps there was once a time when it was not so, but for now, question period has to be the worst waste of productive time ever devised.

  7. Good. The less we have to hear his annoying, smarmy voice, the better. It’ll give mute buttons a break.
I honestly cannot stand hearing that man speak.

  8. Plus, he needs that time to give school speeches. *kaCHING
Still can’t believe people pay to hear this man speak. I would pay to have him keep his mouth shut.
    His voice is Preston-Manning-type annoying.

  9. Brenda “His voice is Preston-Manning-type annoying.”
Thank goodness for Preston, the only guy we could make fun of.
Chretien had a speech impediment so we couldn’t mock him and the pinko guy that sounded like a stroked out grannie had a speech impediment so we couldn’t mock him. That just leaves us with Preston who was obviously speaking the way he did deliberately so we could make fun of him.

  10. Mocking Just-in’s voice is the least useful thing, I admit I mute him too, I tried listening but he like Obama never says anything.
The harping on about Preston Manning’s voice is/was classic liberalism, never mind the content, the basic fact being government as we know it, is bankrupting Canada’s future.
No its “He has a squeaky voice”, such dolts in our media.
Never mind that the kleptocracy is destroying productivity in Canada, its ;”Oh listen he has such a beautiful voice, lovely hair” But never has any content in his vapid gasping.
This is probably the reason sensible taxpayers do not turn up to riot, the rage is getting so high that we no longer trust ourselves to confront the loonies.
    Enjoy the decline.

  11. In my view, Truedeau cannot afford to attend many Question Period’s as the contrast between him and Mulcair would be embarassing for the Libs. I don’t particularly like Mulcair, but he does seem to be a more credible political leader and to at least have a grasp of the issues.

  12. Someone should tell this simpering man-child to show up for work- as he is expected to do! He doesn’t want to make the House of Commons civil; he wants to make sure no one hassles him in particular. Like Obama, he does as little as possible and then whines when someone calls him up on it. Will he be absent when Russia tries to take the North Pole?

  13. He’s the King. Why should the royal do anything?
Besides he has the Media to cover him 24/7. Any stupidity he says will be coverd up by the ever dog like CBC when it comes to communists.

  14. Justie Boo Boo has this gem in his interview:
“I’m reassured that, yes, even though every now and then I give a little extra fodder to my opponents to try and go after me, ultimately I’m right in trusting Canadians that they will understand that my focus is entirely on trying to serve them in the best and the realest way that I possibly can,” the Liberal leader told The Canadian Press in a year-end interview.

  15. Justin takes his thumb out of his mouth long enough to let us all know by saying “I’m Special”
In truth he sounds like some prissy little pre-school young lady who is the product of being told just that…”I’m Special.”
