"...it seems strange for the Times to be opining on a treaty the public hasn't gotten to see yet."

Canada is also a signatory. It looks as though CanCopy got us anyway, despite the new law.

Trust me,it is for your own god,I mean good. Or goo,STFU, I'm a visible minority, you racist.
Does your wife have arms like mine does ?

Its for the children. Those we allow to live that is.
Besides our Government would never betray us.

Shut Up You Ignorant Rube!
Your betters in the big city know what's good for you. And if you do not like what we give you? Too Bad!

We got the gold, and we make the rules.

In Canada, whenever there was a controversial document the government was flogging such as the Free Trade Agreement or the Charlottetown Accord, the talking heads and ink-spillers always loudly suggested the public should get to read the text of the agreement, especially so if an electoral decision on it was in the pipe. Perhaps the "journalists" at the New York Times don't think along those lines?

Sometimes the Ministry of Truth and Ministry of Trade get a little out of sync.

First release some details, THEN write a ringing endorsement. It's not rocket science buys.
