Yolanda for Congress

Dear President Obama,
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all you have done and are doing. You see I am a single Mom located in the very small town of Palmer,Texas. I live in a small rental house with my two children. I drive an older car that I pray daily runs just a little longer. I work at a mediocre job bringing home a much lower paycheck than you or your wife could even imagine living on. I have a lot of concerns about the new “Obamacare” along with the taxes being forced on us Americans and debts your are adding to our country. I have a few questions for you Mr. President.

Have you ever struggled to pay your bills? I have.

Have you ever sat and watched your children eat and you eat what was left on their plates when they were done, because there wasn’t enough for you to eat to? I have.

Have you ever had to rob Peter to pay Paul, and it still not be enough? I have.

Have you ever been so sick that you needed to see a doctor and get medicine, but had no health insurance because it was to expensive? I have.

Have you ever had to tell your children no, when they asked for something they needed? I have.

Have you ever patched holes in pants, glued shoes, replaced zippers, because it was cheaper than buying new? I have.

Have you ever had to put an item or two back at the grocery store, because you didn’t have enough money? I have.

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep, because you had no clue how you were going to make ends meet? I have.

My questions could go on and on. I don’t believe you have a clue what Americans are actually going through and honestly, I don’t believe you care. Not everyone lives extravagantly. While your family takes expensive trips that cost more than most of us make in two-four years, there are so many of us that suffer. Yet, you are doing all you can to add to the suffering. I think you are a very selfish and cold hearted man, who does not care what is best for the people he was elected by (not by me) to represent, but more so out for the glory of your name attached to history. So thank you Mr. President, thank you for pushing those of us that are barely staying afloat completely under water and driving America into the ground. You have made your mark in history, as the absolute worst and most hated president of the United States. God have mercy on your soul!

Sincerely,
Yolanda Vestal

Texas Woman’s Viral “THANK YOU” Letter to Obama – The Free Patriot

Healthcare Mash is the greatest Halloween song I have heard since I was a kid.

Yolanda Vestal wrote a great letter and I hope it goes viral across all of the US, but she should not expect an answer from the First Secretary.

http://www.thespec.com/news-story/4187263-belgium-may-grant-euthanasia-rights-for-children-dementia-patients/

Belgium is about to grant euthanasia rights to children, with parents consent, and dementia patients.

Now,when a Belgian parent says,"eat your dinner or I'll kill you", he can back it up.

Dementia patients are those who would vote Liberal.

This is progress.

Priceless...you'll be dead before you sign up to healtcare.gov

Happy Halloween: Trick or Treatment?

Keyboard Mash? For sure.

Fred, that is one of the saddest things I have ever read. Obama will not care. He does not believe in human emotion.

Don Morris, remember how many Canadian lives were given so that the Belgians and Dutch could kill off their elderly and children.

Google is building floating data center barges. It's probably nothing....

Just in case you missed it on yesterdays readers tips, this is the most cringeworthy video ever to come out of a university.

I've always been amazed by the Packard Plant. Why was it never demolished?? The last car rolled off the assembly line in 1956, although other commercial enterprises used it until the 90's. It covered over 40 acres of land.

Interesting history. The cost to either demolish or restore would exceed the cost of a new structure I would guess. The environmental obligations alone would be massive.

Hey EBD, in the event that PM Harper today announces enshrining "Property Rights" as an election plank, be it here known that I will walk and ride a DONKEY, "property rights" petition in hand, starting January 2, from Summerside PEI and go the breadth of Canada to attain that "right".

I will need some assistance of course, but only from other 81 year old helpers!
All before dimentia overtakes me and if my God given knees hold out!

Not sure how old this is but it seems to be going viral.

Joe Molnar, I'd like property rights too.
Why is it that so many folks want to open up the Constitution and go through the Meech Lake and Charlottetown dog and pony shows again? That's what it would take to get them.
Brian Mulroney had 2 of the largest back-to-back majority governments in history and the effort to amend the Constitution went nowhere with the Progressive Conservative government reduced to 2 seats following the fiasco.

Good luck, Joe. Anything we can do to help with your efforts? I'm not 81, but I admire your energy.

This is Hallowe'en fare I can handle ... pure fun.

Mulroney's mistake was that he let the dog and pony show go on for too long before he allowed a national referendum. Long enough for the process to get bogged down by interest groups with innumerable demands that made it impossible to get closure, that and he allowed separatists into his government believing he could outwit them into giving up their tactic of moving goal posts.
Harper can go for a referendum question on the next federal election that would obligate the next PM (and provinces) to act according to the will of the majority without the need for endless meetings and dog and pony shows.
Matter of fact, I keep wondering if this is actually what he had in mind when he warned not to make senate reform an election issue.

Well at least "poor" people can now say their not on Medicade anymore!

Now they have Universal Health Care, meaning not a thing changes for them.

On the other hand the middle class and small business will be looted into extinction.

The abandoned Massey Ferguson plant in Brantford, Ontario is not much better.

We don't necessarily need property rights enshrined in the Constitution. What we need is a government that respects property rights in its legislation. It should be a no brainer and the default position of any government. Unfortunately giving us bona fide property rights would preclude ruling instead of governing.

To be fair to Sebelius, she did say that she wouldn't release numbers that weren't reliable. Afterall, She isn't the type of person to put out something that isn't completely reliable.

Property rights are already enshrined in the Constitution.
They are at disposition of the several provinces.
As shown by the Gun Registry, the federal government can connive with the Supreme Court to over-ride this provincial power.
If we want a national law guaranteeing property rights, the Constitution has to be opened up to move this power from the provincial column to the federal column.

If we merely have a law, instead of a Charter right, it can be revoked by any majority federal regime without First Ministers yea or nay.

Good idea. Can anyone tell us why we've never had direct democracy on property rights before?(see above)

Has anyone noticed the language used on Sun News regarding government?

They seem to have the idea that politicians and parties "rule" rather than serve when elected. Especially Pat Bolland.

The language used tells about the mindset of these people.
