Oh, Shiny Pony!

"But Sun News can now report that I prefer China."

The young man doesn't understand why Sun would report on that. Video below the fold.

And yes, this entry is filed under, "Insufferable Twits".

Trudeau is a dolt.
Good grief.

I am certain that not one of these women will even remotely comprehend the stupid that is Justin Trudeau, even when it is sitting/posing right in front of them. As a long-time feminist all I can say is, you've come a long way, baby. I'm not sure if I should laugh or just cry...

Yeah, because any country that can mash up a few thousand demonstrators under the treads of tanks has a great administration. How clueless is the son of PET to have never heard of Tianamen Square?

Odd how Trudeau says HE admires China, then states that Stephen Harper probably admires the type of dictatorship China has.

WTF?

Justin's Daddy admired China and their government too,and he went there as a friendly tourist from the West back in the days it was almost impossible to get a visa to visit China.

Another non-surprise from the son of ... Pierre Trudeau.

JT admires dictatorships...

Oh and when does the LIEberal party advocate removing the vote?

Yeah, he's a DRAMA teacher alright, stick with DRAMA because your dictatorship policy prescription is only for the democratically deficient...

When does he come out and say Chairman Mao and the LIEberal party share a Little Red Book?

Puff piece idio-cracy from start to finish.

Cheers

Come now, what other country was he to pick? There's not that many authoritarian regimes to choose from any more. Not like in his daddy's day.

How far are you willing to suspend civil rights in order to push through your draconic environment agenda, Justin? "Just watch me."

Did JT also inform all the women in front of him that he would forcibly abort all their children after the first one; because he admires China so much?

Yeah oh great policy developer, I wonder how much they'll be laughing then?

DOOFUS, plain and simple...

Cheers

The one time I was in Beijing (June 2008), I could not see the buildings across the street because the smog was so thick and this was during a time period when they had already shutdown half the coal plants around Beijing in anticipation of the Olympics.

I don't think that Trudeau really thinks -- He "admires China" because "their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime".

Three basic problems with the statement:

[1] China is a brutal dictatorship that relies on using force to maintain it's force -- Tianamen Massacre, massive re-education gulag system that is in reality slave labour camps for political dissidents.

[2] Canada can't turn on a dime because of all the government red tape & regulations that hinder economic development, and guess which party put these in place -- the Liberals. He has also been very critical of the Harper government because they are trying to remove the regulations (stumbling blocks to economic development).

[3] When a factory or development goes up in China the government seizes the land for little to no compensation -- that is how they treat the Middle & Poor classes.

Justin is trully all image and no substance if he can't understand these simple points.

The guest list and who got stuck for their
tickets would likely be an interesting read.

Cuba comes to mind.

Daddy's ambition.
Mommy's brains.

I swear this moron is an agent for one of the other Parties. I mean, just how farking stupid can a grown man be?

The dolt can't even be original. He's plagarizing Thomas Friedman, another of Kate's favourite themes. Friedman specifically stated that he wished the US could be like China long enough to round up all the climate deniers, and other assorted disadents from the leftist politically correct view.

The fact that this dolt is projecting his typical leftist totalitarian desires onto Harper just makes him disgusting as well as stupid.

You should see his 4 part twitter post wherein he exclaims... ".@DrRaymondMc It’s ridiculous for anyone to suggest that I of all people would trade our rights and freedoms for any other system of gvt. 2"

Shorter Justin: Don't you know who my Daddy was..!..He practically invented CANADA!!!

Justin still does drugs, and he still has sh!t for brains.

The one older lady from the event on the Sun News clip said exactly what Justin is hoping, and that is just get him into the PM seat and hope for the best.

Canada is too great a nation to be run by a person like Justin.

"We will elect him and then find out about his polices."

It is working out so well for us down here in the US.

Unfit. Utterly, absolutely, unquestionably unfit for public office. The man would be an utterly disastrous Prime Minister.

I engaged just a couple of facebook chaps yesterday pointing this out. Got told that "anyone is better than Herr Harper" for my trouble.

Low-information voters, the fools, the idiots, the progressive true believers, will be the death of this country, just as they have fatally wounded the United States.

God help us all (My standard reply for any mention of shiny pony)

I love the line, "... because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say ‘we need to go green fastest…we need to start investing in solar."

This gives insight to the justification for his plan for a carbon tax to funnel money into China through Chairman Mo.

Can't wait to see THIS woeful Justin brain fart turned into a PC commercial for the next federal election!

What a moron ... he makes Obungler seem like MENSA material.

I remember that Ken Whyte once wrote a devastating review of Two Innocents In Red China by Pierre Trudeau and Jacques Hebert. I can't find a link to it, only this comment on another web page:

Trudeau and his pal Jacques Hebert visited Red China in the early ’60s. The visit served as the inspiration for their book “Two innocents in Red China”.

In connection to the book and their visit, Kenneth Whyte wrote a scathing expose on Trudeau in the April 1997 edition of “Saturday Night” in which he effectively accused Trudeau of holocaust denial.

According to Whyte, the book is essentially a travelogue of Trudeau and Hebert eating their way through China while the greatest holocaust in human history was unfolding before them. The event was Mao’s “Great Leap Forward” in which between 30 and 80 million Chinese peasants starved to death while the grain elevators were full to overflowing.

Indeed, despite rumors suggesting what was occuring, Trudeau and Hebert kept blinders on, continued their gluttonous eating spree, and refused to investigate (keep in mind that Trudeau was a respected journalist at that time in his life, a profession that one would assume includes investigating such things).

...and NOW you can see why I hold my nose and vote Rob Ford for Toronto's Mayor, and will do so again. An obese crackhead is more rational and competent than superstars of the left who are trumpeted by the megaphones of the Media Party.

You've heard of MENSA? ...Justin could join (and lead) DENSA.

Hardly a surprise, Justin's Papa Pierre was a friend and admirer of Fidel Castro, in fact he's uncle Fidel to the Trudeau sons.

This is what happens when you are kind of clever and think you are way cleverer than you are and nobody has told you so or otherwise embarrassed you.

I'm savouring the irony of that last comment.

Maybe he suffers from the Dunning-Kruger effect; he's too stupid to realize that he is not as intelligent as he thinks he is.

NEP II is JT's great leap forward.

I think you misspelled the word after insufferable, it has an "a" not an "i".

Well, hey, even Pol Pot's regime had great administration. Just think of the effort it took to depopulate the cities and execute anyone wearing glasses. Remember, progressives hate you for your vestigial independence of thought, your persistence in asking 'why' and your repulsive ability to help yourself. The only difference between Mao and JT, is that the great helmsman skipped past the pretense caring about people and straight on to remaking society. 20 million here, 30 million there. A few omelettes latter you have the 'administration' JT so admires.

One day Justin decided he would mingle with middle class people. So he called up his war room and said ," I wish to mingle with the middleclass and show them I understand them".
So his advisors sat and thought for a while until one said "I've heard middle class people go to Tim Horton's".
So Justin decided, he would go to Tim Horton's and meet some middle class people.
So Justin got in his vintage Mercede's coup, the one he inhertited from his father (he was PM you know) and made his way to the closest franchise.
When he got to Timmies, he pulled into the parking lot.
Seeing the drive thru sign he slowly approached the "order here" sign and came to a stop. A voice came over the loud speaker saying "welcome to Tim Horton's, may I take your order?"
Justin naturally responded, "yes where is the valet parking?"

Mississauga Matt you are so correct -- Pierre Trudeau was the Walter Duranty of the Chinese Great Leap Forward. He wrote wonderful stories on how much food there was and that there was no mass starvation of the peasants. I believe he knew otherwise, he just didn't give a damn. Wonderful trait for a PM.

Walter Duranty did the same thing during the Great Famine (Holodomor) in Soviet controlled Ukraine in 1932/33 and even won a Pulitzer Prize for it. The New York Times even today justifies Duranty's winning of the Pulitzer Prize despite his mass deception and misrepresentation of the truth.

PET was not allowed in the USA till he became PM. It was known by the RCMP security services that Trudeau was in Moscow for over a year in the 1950's. It also may explain why he went after the RCMP security services and replaced them with CSIS as retribution.

Magnificent!

I would have said Cuba. But Mao did personally kill many millions more than Castro, so I can see how a moron would find that more admirable.

Does anyone recall when Canada (under Liberals) was giving 1 million a week to China? I think this may have been going through Maurice Stong's CIDA. Maurice (Bob Rae's "Uncle Mo") Strong and many Liberal insiders (e.g Chretien) have close ties to China. Looks like Junior has tapped into an abiding Liberal tradition.

"China to phase out organ harvesting from prisoners"

Is Trudeau Jr appalled by this curtailing of the Chinese Organ Board?

A view inside the mind of a liberal totalitarian thug. This is mainstream thinking within the liberal party.

I think he might be retarded. (Was Margaret, you know, sober when she was pregnant with Justie?)

Is this really as bad as it looks? Or, has Justin done the polling and the real women that watch Sun News are ready to swoon for him?

Even WK's girlfriend has turned on him. How is this http://lisakirbie.com/2013/11/dont-mess-with-the-ladies/ possible?

It is usual for leftist scum to project their actual wishes and
intentions on conservatives. That's what they do! The first indication
was when Pierre Trudeau stated that he admired Plato's Republic.
Well, Plato was no democrat, but rather an old-fashioned oligarch, from
an old-fashioned oligarchic family, some of whom were members of the
"Thirty Tyrants".

While I admire Chinese culture, and the Chinese work ethic, I wouldn't
like Canada to be more like China (and discussions with a Chinese
graduate student have strengthened that feeling).

Which part of China does he admire most? The part where babies are drowned in buckets of cold water for the unpardonable crime of being born female? Or the part of China where North Koreans are forcibly repatriated, except the women who are used as s-x slaves? What about the parts of China that are so badly polluted no one can live there?

He needs to be clear about these things.

What a f--- wit.

The corrupt Liberal Party would've been better off inserting a stinking, steaming, gigantic turd as their "leader".. at least the turd would have had a higher intellectual capacity than this colossal moron. Little Justine must be smoking the best weed in the country, either that or he's just a complete idiot, probably both.

What surprised me the most about the boy-prince's answer was that he is unaware that the only thing the Chinese gov't does quickly is adjust their propaganda. Everything else, aside from executions are done at a snail's pace. He is wrong on all levels of just about everything he claims to know. The more he talks the less worried I am about our future.

We should be thanking young Trudeau actually. The left will be quoting PMSH's "don't care what they think" line incessantly. It can now be countered with "admiration I actually have for China because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say ‘we need to go green fastest…".

Aside from his admiration for the efficiencies of dictatorships, let's take a look at Trudeau Jr.'s "go green fastest ... need to invest in solar" phrase.

In 2008 almost none of China's electricity came from "green" and zero from solar. By 2035 China will get about 12% it's electricity from "green", maybe 25% of that from solar. I guess an increase from almost nothing to 12% of your electricity supply over 27 years could be seen as "fastest". Couldn't it? (For solar it's from zero to 3).

This guy's like Suzuki - throw out BS and expect that no one in his audience knows the real information.

My source?

http://environment.nationalgeographic.com/environment/energy/great-energy-challenge/world-electricity-mix/

Check out China's current and projected coal use.

Sorry my friend, EC is anything but scientific these days, especially where eco-anything is concerned. Nobody has been able to credibly confirm any of these "green" moves in China. It's all just so much more statistical nonsense based on Chinese state propaganda.

Sorry, should have written Nat Geo there. I have Environment Canada on the brain these days. If only you knew...

You'll get no argument from me on that, TN. China has massive need for energy and they are going to get it via the quickest, cheapest and most energy intensive route (coal). But, I wanted my post to stay mostly on point and I needed a "respected" heh, heh, source. Besides, knowing that the Chinese are likely playing fast and loose with their "green" projections simply makes M. Trudeau's statements all the more ridiculous.

Is it too late to repeal the female franchise?

The bottom line is China is an authoritarian state. Their environmental record is a joke which their annual growth alone in pollution and emissions dwarfing the entire Canadian output on the order of 400-500%. This fallacy of China leading the way environmentally is a pure fantasy. I don't begrudge them modernizing with fossil fuels mind you, but they're not green heroes, far from it.

Trudeau is a walking auto attack ad. He consistently attacks Canada's environmental record, ignoring the inaction of previous Liberal governments. He is clearly not a deep thinker, and is a member of the "intelligentsia" who as a group haven't got a scintilla of common sense between them. I predict his 2015 election campaign will be disastrous and portends another humiliating defeat for the Liberals and the NDP with them; there really is no difference between these two parties anymore.
