Interestingly, it also reports on the race of the person making the complaint, and the arresting officers. This is rare in mainstream reporting. Given the fact that almost all of the story originates with the victim's lawyer, I'll be cautious about indulging in self-righteous indignation until we get more corroboration.

If this is not corroboration, it is at least confirmation of the problem: 4 On Your Side reveals another traffic stop nightmare. I live in New Mexico. It has a politicized court system, so I'm not confident that justice will be served well here (remember Conrad Black), but I'll try to report back if I learn anything further about these cases.

The NM crap is unconstitutional and those law enforcement perks should be federally charged with felony assault, including the DA. The Federal AG (Holder) will do nothing because he is a black racist.
