Never attribute to stupidity what can be adequately explained by malice: Navy SEALs ordered to remove 'don't tread on me' Navy Jack from uniforms

I have a Gadsden Flag. I think I shall run it up the pole after work this evening. God bless the Marines.

Payback for some people not shutting up about Benghazi and the SEAL helicopter crash?

Its been my thought for some time now that Obama has declared bureaucratic war on the US armed forces, and is intent on replacing them with the DHS. Unlike the Navy for example, DHS can probably be depended on to fire at civilian targets in the continental USA.

This little jab, (if true, this is the intertubes right?) is a reminder to all career minded officers and enlisted that the Tea Party is considered an enemy of the regime even more than Al Qeerda, and that associating with anything Tea Party will be severely dealt with by the Top Brass.

By the way, DHS is arming up again with "less-than-lethal" pepperball automatic launchers. 700 rounds a minute of asthma-inducing capsicum goodness, and hits like a golf ball.

Perhaps it will be replaced by the image of Obama .... perhaps genuflecting to some third world tyrant.

The only "radical groups" in the US are President Zero and the Democratic party.

One can only hope that this move backfires completely on the Zero.

Ach du lieber...vee are sinking, vee are sinking!

Yes, vat are you sinking about?

I have it, it's the COSTA CONCORDIA PRESIDENCY, no doubt led by Commander in Chief Schettino.

The plaintive cry of "Vaya a bordo, cazzo!" should be heard any minute.

Cheers

Hans Rupprecht, Commander in Chief

1st Saint Nicolaas Army
Army Group “True North”

And the senior commanders of US forces are being purged right and left. Well, too many of them have been
gutless wonders, as in this instance.

What ever happened to fragging?

Typical leftwit policy response. The symbol with a couple of centuries of association with honorable service and patriotism is invoked by some of the citizenry to express their patriotism, but the regime can't do anything about the latter, such as engage in respectful political discourse, so they lash out at others who aren't allowed to express themselves.

I don't care for tattoos and I don't advise anyone to get them, but if every U.S. Navy Seal goes out and gets a particular tattoo of a certain image that this not allowed to be sewn on the uniform.

I wonder if the Tea Party can display enough unflattering images of Barack Obama's face, his campaign badge, and the Democrats' donkey to get those banned, too?

We know (most of us) where this all leads. In the Soviet Union, late 30s, Stalin feared his independent
commanders, and purged them all (nearly). Apparently the interrogation minutes for Marshal Tuchachevsky,
the founder of Soviet military rocketry, are still available, and can be seen to be spattered with his blood.
Well, in the US the Bitch-In-Chief prefers to degrade through sexual slander. Anyway, this was all fine
until the Soviet Union had to fight a real and serious opponent - Japan. Fortunately for him, Stalin had
neglected to kill Grigori Zhukov, who proceeded to save the situation, and Stalin's a**, in the Far East,
and did it again a few years later, when the Wehrmacht was heading straight for Moscow.

The same will happen to the Bitch-In-Chief, or Shrillary. The US is down to two combat-ready brigades.
The Mexican army can probably do better - the Mexican drug gangs can probably do better!

Fun times are coming!

barack the magic negro rides again. americans are becoming more subservient daily. the home of the free has been turned into some kind of PC back water. before you squack about my description of the ONE, it was coined by an obarma supporter who wrote for the LA Times and was used by Rush for months.

John, I think you meant Germany, not Japan.

I agree, this is payback for not keeping their mouth shut about Benghazi, as well as the bigger picture of like what happened in Turkey and by Morsi in Egypt in getting rid of any opposition to "fundamental" changes.

Ken, John Lewis is correct. Google "Khalkin Gol" for details.

I always get Zhukov's Christian name wrong - it is "Georgy", in full
Гео́ргий Константи́нович Жу́ков. It is an important point because there
were many Zhukovs in the Soviet army - it was a common name.

Also, Tukhachevsky's surname is more correctly transliterated as
shown - "Тухаче́вский" to remove ambiguity. But "ch" in English has
a couple of pronunciations; just not a good idea to use two of them
in the same word.

Minuteman, thank you. I thought I knew something about the era before WW II, but if I had heard of this battle I have forgotten it. This little war in Mongolia is largely ignored or mentioned very briefly. It actually was very significant in the overall direction the route the war took until December 1941.

Sorry John. I appreciate your knowledge of small, but significant detail.

Are there any good book titles of this little war?

I'm going to be wearing the Gadsden flag on a T-shirt and will see if can buy one online to fly over my house. This might be the move that Obozo will regret when he's put in front of a wall and shot after being convicted of treason.

Soldiers had better do some very deep thinking now; there may not be a better time to overthrow this commie than now if the purge of the military continues. This purge alone is treason and WTF no-one has done anything about it is bizarre.

The banned flag was one of the US Navy's first flags, during the Revolution. As such, it is one of the oldest parts of its heritage, and is on a par with the USS Constitution, and John Paul Jones. Obama is determined to break the Armed services, as is evidenced by his sacking of many of its most senior and successful commanders.

I think the first defeat suffered by the Stalin purged Red Army was in the Winter War.

You know, we Canadians have been through all this before. Does nobody remember the "unification" of the Canadian Army, Navy and Airforce into the Canadian Forces?

Our guys didn't riot or mutiny. When faced with the new green Supertest gas station attendant uniforms, the elimination of unit insignia, regiments disbanded, colours struck, busted equipment, ancient vehicles, no boots, and on and on and on, they all did one thing.

They -left-. Went home. Our military withered away to 65,000 guys, most of whom seem to be majors driving desks in Ottawa.

Fast forward to now, the Afghan terrorist p3ckerheads refuse to engage Canadian forces and run away from them. They're afraid of our guys because Canadian soldiers been hardened in a 40 year battle with an enemy that makes the Taliban look like school boys: Liberals.

Good point. It was Trudeaus way of destroying any British heritage left.
Canada was born in World War one. It dies in 1985 with a Socialist constitution.

Let's see: God is out of oaths, Marines are being forced to go metro-sexual with dress uniform hats and now centuries old flags are now taboo. What next, gender neutral latrines for the army?
