Define racist?? It's not all that hard - People who have guns. Despite over half the population having guns, the U.S. murder rate is among the lowest in the world. Britain, a few former colonies and a small bit of Europe are lower but most countries are significantly higher. The true bloodbath would start when honest people lost their guns.

It's hardly surprising, in that case, that it correlates with gun ownership.

It's basically the same sort of imaginary pseudo-intellectual "dog-whistle racism" they've been smearing the Tea Party with for years.

Blacks make up only 13 percent of the American population but young black men commit about half the murders in the U.S. Even more to the point, official federal statistics show that "Blacks are 39 times more likely to commit a violent crime against whites than vice versa."

In light of these stats it's obviously not racist for white people to want the right to be armed. As John McWhorter notes in the second link, if the situation was reversed, racially speaking, "it'd be trumpeted as justification (for blacks) being scared to death of (whites)."

However, the authors note that this reduction is unsurprising as opposition to bans on dildo's equates to self interest on behalf of those who already own a dildo and do not wish to give it up. And liberalism was already strongly associated with having a dildo in the home.

A quick browse at the FBI crime website shows that for 2012 under homicide there were 4,582 white offenders, 5,531 black offenders, 240 others and 4.228 where the race was unknown. Considering that whites are 50% of the population and blacks 13%, the 'symbolic racist' whites are killing at a rate of less one quarter of their black brethren.

Also, despite Obama being the greatest gun salesmen in history, homicide has actually decreased in the past few years.

This is absolute BS. Having been destroyed by well thought out statistical studies, those who think that Americans should own dildos rather than guns now clutch at the rotten straw of "symbolic racism". Never before have I run into a concept as idiotic and illogical and belief in "symbolic racism" alone should disqualify one from any future intellectual discourse given that they've proved beyond of a shadow of a doubt that they're unable to recognize logic.

This is my first exposure to the concept of "symbolic racism" and I went to the wikipedia page and discovered the key to why the US is currently being destroyed. All of the tenets of the US constitution are viewed as examples of "symbolic racism" and, in the deranged minds of those who view this piece of insanity as logical thought, the US constitution must be eliminated. Sorry for yet another post, but I decided to look up more on this new moonbat concept of "symbolic racism". Today was the first time I've ever heard of this idiotic idea, and one can find out ones "symbolic racism" score using the following test:

My "symbolic racism" score was 26/32. That's the first time I've ever been called "racist" because I have a lifelong history of dealing with people as individuals, not as members of racial groups.

What surprised the authors of this paper was that white and asian university students where just as "symbolically racist" as older people from white and asian groups. I suspect that seeing black students who are incompetent admitted to prestigious programs purely on racist grounds might have something to do with that view among students.

"Symbolic racism" is probably the most virulent meme to infect the university departments inhabited primarily by useless eaters. Given that the US is supposed to be a meritocracy, this meme is completely antithetical to the meritocratic concept. Unless these whites are calling for discrimination in the application of the 2nd Amendment and lesser USSC decisions that have upheld the 2nd, blacks' rights to gun ownership are also protected. Wouldn't white racists want to keep blacks from owning guns? IIRC, the origin of gun control advocacy in the U.S. was linked to just this issue - keeping blacks from getting guns to protect themselves from aggressive white racists.

Per wiki - the US murder rate is 4.7 per 100,000 103 countries listed are worse 100 are better. (only counted once) Somalia's rate is 1.5 if you believe UN stats. The world average is 6.9. Europe is 3.5.

Murder is a race thing and blacks who are 12.6 % of the U.S. population commit 52 % of murders.

The U.S. general population is 2.2 per 100k less than the world average to commit murder and the U.S. white population is significantly less likely to commit murder than a European - probably in the range of 1 per 100k.
