Congratulations! You are in distinguished company.

Hey! Hey! Hey! Small Dead Animals and Blazing Cat Fur!

Way to go, Kate! And you're up against some tough "competition," though I know you're all in it together. A revolution in the making.

Thanks!

Indeed, congrats Kate.

Always # 1 in the morning for me. The shortcut has been in the top right hand corner for a few years, right below it is BCF.
Thanks Kate.

Nice going (O:}
Nice to see some Canadian blogs get recognition.

Kudos to you and the gifted staff of volunteers. When even lefties continue to come back and get hammered you know you are doing everything right.

Fox News is Conservative??

Compared to the rest........you betcha.

It would be impressive enough to be in the top 150 Conservative blogs, but the ranking is for websites, which, as I pointed out in last night's RT's, include Fox News dot com, Hannity dot com, newspapers like the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Examiner, the Telegraph and the Spectator (both in the UK), and aggregators like Drudge and Newsmax and Bad Blue, as well as Rasmussen reports, and so on.

Not bad for a farm girl from Saskatchewan -- I think her name's "Kate", or something like that.

That's 'cause she lets you do most of the work:-)

And to think I didn't even have to vote.....more than once or twice....just show up daily. Congrats Kate you deserve it all for a having such a great site all these years.

I live at SDA's place..i might as well move in and pay rent.

Congratulations Kate! For Canadians to get into this website acknowledgement is astonishing but I guess because we are a 'have country', 2 is the least they could do?. Go Conservatives! We do like to keep a bit of our change....

No, we just bail water when she's away for a few days, and pray for her to come back before our arms give out..

Your webite is a daily read.

Thank you

Congrats, Kate! I, too, visit your site daily. Thanks for a job well done!

(polite curtsy and thumbs-up)

Long live Katherina III!

SDA is an everyday stop for me- Go Kate!

My congratulations also.
As EBD explained it is a .biggy

Peter J I was being sarcastic.

I hate to crash your party, but it might be worse than you think it is.

Please don't say anything, but it strikes me how close SDA is to steynonline.com (136 vs 130). Anecdotally, I can report that, in 2010, I think it was, my wife, for my birthday, bought us two $200 VIP tickets (no tax receipt) to Mark Steyn's "After America" visit to London ON (you remember, the one where he had to switch from Alumni Hall to Centennial Hall because Western University has a policy on "hate speech" or some such). Heck, there were 50 or more people at the private reception -- not that many fewer than were at Mr. Trudeau, Jr.'s Barbie doll show in Toronto the other night ($250 per ticket, with a 75% tax credit for the net proceeds portion). At Steyn's actual public presentation ($25 per ticket, no tax receipt), there were 600 or more people -- in other words more than you can get in London ON at a no-charge political rally for any politician other than Stephen Harper (maybe). That's little wee London ON for a guy who has, literally, a global following.

Now I know that overall ranking (I'm guessing that the numbers in the right-hand column represent ranking by readership) is not the same as readership itself. But by applying a second-order Pareto analysis (80/20 rule) to the 450 million or so websites in existence, that would mean that the 18 million or so most read websites account for something like 96% of total website readership. Which would put Steyn on the cusp of the first percentile, with SDA hot on his heels.

Party on.

No. Thank YOU.

MM

Despite being at risk of being declared unbalanced or unstable mentally, and for past POSTING indiscretions here at "Small Dead Animals" conservative blog, I heartily congratulate Kate McMillan for creating and perpetuating a ..........

MIRACLE! on this plane of existence!

Gifted with the key to the intellectual "candy store" Kate McMillan has surpassed intellectual Conservative Giant Conrad Black, and Mark Steyn, (both abandoned Canada) Kate soldiered on from her Delisle Saskatchewan base providing millions of readers with a constant solid Canadian Conservative voice.

Can an atheist create a "miracle"

Of course!

I AM firmly on the side of World Ranked "Small Dead Animals" as a Made in Canada Conservative Voice MIRACLE"

What say you Stephen Harper, and in passing Stephen, when will Canadians get "Property Rights" enshrined into our Canadian Constitution?

Now that would also be a "miracle", eh?

Congrants Kate and crew...top 100 coming soon...

Keep up the good work!

Something of a scandal that Kate ended up at 136, you ask me. I find out more stuff faster here than at most places.

Go Kate!

Just watch.

Like Michael Mann and "his" Nobel Prize, John, NDPiste, Iberia et al have upgraded their CVs to reflect "their" win.

All kidding aside, sorry for misspeaking myself -- you and Mark Steyn are actually almost in the 99th percentile (back-assward, on my part).

Regardless, you're still my favourite one percenters.

Thanks for posting this Kate, now I know who makes up "the vast right-wing conspiracy".
