There was a time when such public displays of ignorance used to anger me. Not so much anymore. When someone is inclined toward stupidity to begin with and receives his diet of current events from sources like CNN or ABC, can the outcome be any different? Does anyone honestly think that this cretin has even the slightest idea of the realities of the so-called government shutdown? Does he realize that more borrowing to pay off debt is simply wrong and will come back to bite you in the ass every time? Does he fully understand the ramifications of Obamacare? Can he even spell Obamacare? Sadly, this sign-wielding loser, and many more of his ilk are allowed to vote.

A couple of points if I may .... First .... Only about 20% of the American people (similar in Canada) are even paying any attention at all to what is going on and what it means for them. So very little can be accomplished anymore by talking and voting. That is means something worse is about to happen.

Next ... I don't care if people call each other 'tards' .... I don't mind ethnic jokes either. I also like it when people are allowed to fail ... fall right on their asses, because the ones who get up are better people for having got back up. Political correctness has hobbled us and multiculturalism is destroying our own western culture.

So we who lean to the right can stop pretending to be outraged when the left calls us 'retards' .... who cares? You and I were taught better as kids .... with the old sticks and stones metaphor.

Stop being politically correct by feigning disgust at mere words from the foul left. Say whatever you want and be proud that you are free to do so. If you are not free to do so, then you'd better mount up because that is what is at stake here, not whether some is calling someone else a 'retard'.

The GOP has blown this "shutdown" badly. Rather than seek to tweak the budget a bit or piss around with Obamacare, they should have drawn a line around actually shutting down the US government (until operating with a balanced budget), even if a sovereign default resulted. Their mantra should have been, we're not shutting down a government but halting the world's largest criminal ponzi scheme. The trauma of default might just wake up the citizenry in near catatonic stupor and tossing the country into recession is better than further enabling the pimping of the mindless into complete slavery.

Well the silver lining is that if Obamba’s hordes ever decide to let loose due to lack of freebies, GUESS whose communities and streets get to burn first?

Oh yea, by the time they spend themselves out on the Liberal “gun free, sanctuary cities” they won’t have the energy to breach middle America’s ramparts.

The US debt as percentage of GDP has been higher, and it's high now due to the economic collapse that happened after Bush totally 'tarded out the economy. Given time, and hopefully the WH, Senate and House, things will be brought under control. Then you guys can totally wreck it again.
