One must never forget that statism, whether fascist or socialist is, by its nature, always buttressed with the power and willingness to initiate the use of brute force on its subjects as well as its enemies. Liberty-minded Conservatives should never fall into the trap of presuming that the vast majority of the left is capable or willing to engage in reasoned debate. They hide behind the coercive skirt of the state or mob and don't feel the need or want to engage with the "enemy", themselves. The lies can be repeated and the narratives regurgitated ad-infinitum all for the righteousness of their cause. When one is already fully invested in the sanctity of state force against human speech and action, what's a mere detail like logic or truth. The gas chambers are therefore never that far removed. My only expectation of statists is what one would expect from looters and thugs.

Strangely, the left has allied with the Islamic supremacists against the moderately statist and civilized Israelis (what ever happened to the leftist idealism of the Kibbutz?) and now share the oldest hatred with the Seventh Century Theocracy.

So the point is, as Prof. Jacobson points out, that if the Israeli troops do commit rape then they could obviously be accused of being rapists, but if they don't rape then they can be accused of being racists, according to the anti-Israel "professor". Either way, the troops would be completely reprehensible. This kind of demonization of one's enemies is one of the hallmarks of what leftists like to call "hate speech".

Unfortunately the reverse is also true: scratch a Jew, find a leftist.
