"German power play: silly EU C02 rules for cars delayed at least until 2024."

There seem to be more and more news outlets calling the IPCC out for the shysters they are.

Has anyone heard much about this?

Liberals will choose their next party president at a convention in February. Mike Crawley, the current president is not seeking re-election.

I think that there is something more to the story. Mike Crawley has been a Liberal die-hard since age 15. He ran the Ontario Liberals for years.
He gets elected to the top post, and then quietly bows out 6 months after Justin's rise to leader. That doesn't sound right.Even worse, his likely replacement is Anna Gainey who was Garneau's top dog and is reported to be a Trudeau insider.

"Horse Strength

It’s all a far cry from the picture painted by Gonzalez Chozas in a 2011 interview with the magazine of the Extremaduran Association of Pure-Blood Spanish Horse Breeders in which he praised the “nobility” of his horses and the “strength in the kidneys” they needed for rides into the hills. Tiles bearing the emblem of his stud, the letter ‘G’ enclosed in the outline of a holm oak, still adorn the entrance to the property.

Gonzalez Chozas declined to respond to phone calls and an e-mail to his offices in Plasencia, Spain, requesting comment."

"PROTEST
Frustrated wind-power opponents hope to gain attention Saturday by slowing traffic along Hwy. 402"

"A moving protest:

Wind protesters are taking it to the streets, or rather a major highway linking Canada and the U.S., to protest the Ontario government's abuse of citizens; "The megaphone politics of protest isn’t working," says Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley. "There’s a sense of desperation. Ordinary people cannot get a change in government policy and they’re taking this (rally) as a last step of opposition."

"Workers escape as wind turbine collapses at Belfast Harbour"

"It is understood that the stem of a wind turbine collapsed on to a digger as it was being moved yesterday. The accident took place at a site used by Siemens at Belfast harbour where wind farms are being manufactured.

The Belfast Telegraph understands one of the wind turbine stems fell on top of a Manitou digger as it was being moved."

"The Global Warming Cause – one man’s quest for victimhood"

"Tim Blair writes at The Telegraph blogs about weepy Bill McKibben as examined by a specialist."

"... McKibben describes his arrival at college in 1978 as a liberal-leaning student with a suburban Protestant background. “My leftism grew more righteous in college,” he says, “but still there was something pro forma about it.” The problem? “Being white, male, straight, and of impeccably middle-class background, I could not realistically claim to be a victim of anything.”"

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - eBay Inc (NSQ:EBAY) founder Pierre Omidyar on Wednesday said he is building an independent media organization covering news from sports to politics for mainstream readers, spearheaded by big names including ex-Guardian correspondent Glenn Greenwald.

Omidyar, the 46-year-old French-born Iranian-American who remains chairman of the e-commerce giant he founded, wrote in a blog post that he considered buying the Washington Post - which Amazon.com Inc (NSQ:AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos eventually snapped up - but decided he wanted to build a news organization from the ground up."

Mike Crawley leaving already -- very odd. I think he had close connections to Dalton, and even got $$ for his business from one of Dalton's green funds. Hmm -- when Conservatives are involved in funding we had special committees set up to investigate who did NOT get funding (e.g. Jaffer and his partner), but when Liberals are spreading around the cash, media pays no attention. Now maybe there is nothing untoward going on here, but wouldn't you think some worthwhile journalist would take a closer look -- maybe Maher or McGreggor? I guess if they took this up, that would not leave them free to investigate some Conservative overspending on orange juice (for example) or monitor the latest sneeze coming from Elections Canada.

"Climatology Sees One Of The Greatest Scientific Reversals Of All Time – The Rise And Fall Of The Hockey Stick Charts"

"An examination of the five IPCC reports published thus far reveals a remarkable scientific reversal. What follows is the evolution of the 1000-year temperature curve: from double hump (1990) - to hockey stick 2001) – and back again to double hump (2013)."

"The Man Who Made Sea-Level Rise Go Away"

"MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. - John Droz Jr. is not the stereotypical back-room political player: A tall and trim 67, bespectacled with a shorn scalp, he's a man who prefers sweater vests and jeans rather than crisp suits and bears more resemblance to a retired high-school science teacher than a political heavyweight.

Yet this semi-retired real-estate investor and self-described environmental advocate spends much of his time quietly and effectively plying the halls of power in Raleigh, N.C., deflecting credit and avoiding the spotlight.

"This isn't about me," he offered, repeatedly.

What it's about, however, is Droz' outsized role in shaping science's influence on public policy—on climate change, sea-level rise, the advantages of renewable energy over fossil fuels. His work has rippled far beyond Raleigh's 1960s-era State Legislative Building and into the national debate on how to respond to warnings raised by climate scientists."

"Three Bills

Among the North Carolina legislation Droz has advocated for, three bills in particular stand out.

• H819 - The most famous and well known, this bill gained national attention when it sought to prevent the use of any computer modeling in predicting future sea-level rise. A watered-down version was eventually passed into law and prevents the state from taking any action on sea-level rise until 2016.

• H484 - Also passed into law, this bill tightened the requirements for obtaining a permit to construct wind-energy turbines by requiring developers to take into account potential impacts on military radar and flight paths.

• H298 - Stuck in committee since April, this bill would have repealed the state's renewable energy requirement seeking to increase the use of power sources such as wind energy. The state standard partly funds those sources through increased rates on electric bills—the "reverse Robin-Hood" effect Droz refers to in his presentations."

Yes,it is very odd,to say the least.

Crawley was on stage at the media covered convention with both McGuintys. His alternative energy company signed close to a half-billion worth of contracts with the Ontario gov't. He was the president of the Liberal party of Ontario for years. To achieve the presidency of the federal party would probably be his lifelong goal.
Yet,he quietly steps down and his likely successor is the person(Anna Gainey) behind Garneau's campaign, in which he stepped down to pave Justin's stairway to Liberal heaven.
My personal opinion is that either,'he was given an offer he could not refuse' or 'he could not support Mr.Trudeau'.

It could be all above board, but yes,I do think that someone should ask a few questions. Then again,if they are not going to report the resignation,I doubt that they will look into it.
