Bonus comment:

Just so long as we never, ever shut down 20% of the government again!!! That was just hell on wheels for, like, over two whole weeks!

Thank you, Senators McCain and Graham! Thanks for saving our bacon!

The Cloward-Piven strategy:- a mere first step.
Consider this:-
http://www.forbes.com/sites/billfrezza/2013/10/15/the-international-monetary-fund-lays-the-groundwork-for-global-wealth-confiscation/

β€œIt goes on to build a case for drastic measures and recommends a series of escalating income and consumption tax increases culminating in the direct confiscation of assets.”

Spend like there's no Zimbabwe!

End the Fed.
Write down the treasury debt and go back to hard currency systems.
Mint issue debt-free currency and drastically reduce income tax.

There is no way out of the current situation except default and crash or write off the debt and start over.

Under a Von Misus plan the US will be an economic/industrial powerhouse within a decade. But too many crony irons in the "bond" fire of kleptocracy. The move to a stable economy has to be an organic movement, because congress will never act against their masters in the Fed.

that chart is rayciss...

That is the scariest graph in all of history. When the collapse comes (which China, Russia, Iran and others cheering on the sidelines) it will make the Great Depression look like a picnic.

This graph is really what the fight is about, not Obamacare. Although Obamacare is just another big log on the fire.

Having this discussion is what it is about, big picture. Reagan would speak in these terms not so much about the particualr policy that made the point.

End the Fed, Hard Currency arguments are all so much gas. Debt means taxes, and deadweight since it isnt paying for services but debt service. To change this you have to win power, to win you have to pick the right fights and have the right message. Blowing your capital on what the just did isnt the way to change anything. Barry isnt brialliant he is lucky to have a less than stellar opposition.

The conservatives spent 20 years up here trying to make this argument and it was only when Chretien was faced with serious consequences that he got serious. Those consequences came from outside the country, despite conservatives making the deficit point for decades.

It is a long sad story the question is will the person in charge at the time be someone who cares about the future, or has another agenda. Not convinced the current President cares. Its either Cloward Piven or supidity, still not sure which.

Obama is not stupid. He has a plan and everything I have seen seems to be consistent with tearing down the US economically.
My view is that what has occurred recently in the US is designed to accelerate that movement. What other reason would account for the government trying to increase social welfare expenditures wherever possible while racing toward the debt cliff?
In that light, it is entirely logical that those in power are trying to make the U.S. fail, think Cloward Piven on steroids,so that only a one-world government can stabilize a world economy and bring about financial equality for all.
When the plan is to destroy, it is not that a crushing debt collapse is a problem ;rather,it is a well planned feature.
(OK...maybe my foil hat is too tight)

Clinton : good
Bush: bad

Well I for one certainly feel much more financially secure after seeing that graph. (roll eyes)

separatiste, the Republicans controlled the house and therefore budgetary spending during the Clinton years so the credit goes to Newt Gingrich and his 'contract with America' rather than Slick Willie. Likewise, the Democrats controlled the house and senate from 2002 onward so they, not Bush, controlled the budget.

Here's a clip from the 2005 State of the Union address where Bush warns that Social Security will go bankrupt and the Democrats, including Hillary, boo him.

The graph needs updating. Over at drudge, US borrowed $328 billion more YESTERDAY!
That's right, in one day.

But this is responsible government Libtard style.
Until the taxpayers punish robbery, the stealing will continue to accelerate.
Right now the only career paths with a future, appear to be, join the Kleptocracy(govt),crime(non govt stealing) or abandon the govt sanctioned unit of exchange.

Well, I guess that explains why the debt remained constant, right to the penny, for 100 days.

The graph appears to erroneously suggest zeroblabla started with an accumulated debt of between 13 and 14T.

Beltway Bush bumped it up by 4.9T in two terms, dear leader easily surpassed that in his first term.

http://thenationaldebtcrisis.com/the-national-debt-by-president/

That chart shows in very stark terms that the United States of America is almost out of time before her economy collapses into a debt-induced singularity. I am not convinced she will be able to limp along until the end of the fool Obama's term of office.

God help us all when that happens. The world will be a much colder, darker place without the shining light of America.

Oopsie!

"U.S. debt jumps a record $328 billion β€” tops $17 trillion for first time"

And yet it's Bernie Madoff who's imprisoned. He only fleeced willing suckers, when the state does it, it's at gun point.

As to the trail of presidential wreckage above, everyone of them a progressive, some just more "conservative" than others.

Senators McCain and Graham: A pair of Turds! McCain would betray
his mother..to bad she was hit by a truck when he was just a Pup.

The graph has an uncanny appearance of a Toilet.
How appropriate.
Until Government gets out of the welfare business, the US & Canada will just become another turd.

and libtards will look at that graph and say, "see, the debt is going down":-))))

Fibonacci would be proud.
