Not A Muslim

NOOoonononono... "... say hello again to two of the most appallingly over-promoted and sinister figures involved with the current U.S. government: Mohamed Elibiary and Dalia Mogahed."

Sadly, I doubt even my children will see the day religion is stopped as the force of bigotry and divisiveness it is in this world.

All too easy to forget that Islam is only a few centuries behind Christianity on the "murder and torture" bandwagon. Hopefully they never become as skilled at raping children and then protecting the rapists as the Vatican has.

Also, even with all the evils done in it's name, I don't ever remember any Muslim organization causing incalculable deaths by banning condoms in AIDS ravaged Africa.

BTW, can anyone here explain to me why the west does not have a very open and public policy of burying the remains of all Muslim suicide bombers with pig guts? Why not use the same ridiculous faith that makes them cowardly mass murderers to make them just plain cowards?

Do you and Dick Slater go bowling? I must know. I only ask because of the incredible idiocy of your post. However, if there is anything in it worth redeeming, it is how it is a perfect example of the kind of deflection, blame and misinformation Eliabary and Mogahed are guilty of.

So- are the Copts to blame for their lot? Why not? They're Christians, aren't they?

Thanks for being a perfect stooge for people like Elibiary and Mogahed. Well played.

Muslim Brotherhood advisers in the White House. This explains a lot of things.

Throughout history, the major religions are responsible for unimaginable amounts of human pain, suffering and death. That's a simple fact that is well documented over time, we witness it continuing even today. Reality is surely a biatch, eh?

Educate yourself, you seem woefully naive on the subject.

It's time mankind left this childish reliance on bronze age myth's behind.

The dead victims of the major Christian religions when they had secular leaders who bent their faiths are a fraction of the numbers to the victims of atheist tyrants such Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and Pol Pot, et al. And that does not include the babies being murdered during the last few decades through abortion.

That said, no faiths should be allowed anywhere near the seats of political power such as the two mentioned in the thread topic.

Naive ? When you spout off only negatives and ignore all the positives it gives a whole new meaning to naive. If we could live by the 10 commandments we actually would have peace. If we lived by the Quran you would already be dead. As Ken mentioned, the greatest mass killers in history have been atheists. The joy you get from pissing in other peoples cornflakes goes well past naive and deep into vindictive. Religion will never be eliminated in your or your childrens life time but you should really contemplate who your real enemies are. The ones that allow you choice and leave you in peace as a atheist ? Or the ones that will kill you for even admitting it ? As a "Canadian Observer" perhaps it's time to observe the world around you and stop being so naive.

What is truly tragic is the fact that so many atheists don't realize that atheism is a religion complete with scriptures and prophets. This blindness of atheists keeps them from doing a critical analysis of their belief system. As a Christian I am fond of critiquing Christian preachers, singers, authors and even a few individuals that I consider a half a bubble off because they are constantly critical of one branch of Christianity without critiquing of their own.

Even I consider Canadian Observer a flake.

Christianity is nowhere near Islamism and atheism/communism but again, nice stooging.

Ha, the replies were much what I expected.

Canuckguy... I was going to suggest you address the topic when you have something intelligent to say but then I realized that day will probably never come. Flake? That's a first, but I'll take it anyday over going through life as an opportunistic *sshole such as yourself.

Joe... Atheism is a religion like abstinence is a sexual position. It is a "tag" religious types rely on so all unbelievers can be filed under one convenient label. I don't believe in flying saucers either. What label does that earn me?.

BTW, do you follow Zues, Vishnu, Allah, Thor, Loki, Gaia, Atlas or Krishna? No?
Then how about Buddha, Hedes, Neptune, Kukelcan, Ceres or a few hundred others? No? Wow, you sound like an athiest to me.

Ken, you need some history lessons. Many of the evil dictators you have cited used state religion to carry out their evil deeds. As per Hitler.... the soldiers who actually carried out his horrific atrocities were overwhelmingly Catholic and Lutheran. Explain that little inconvenient fact to us.

I notice nobody took a shot at my original question. Instead, it's all about defending faith. How utterly sad.

It is that type of shallow thinking that enables gullible idiots to be convinced that strapping a bomb to their chest and taking innocent lives is a noble deed, directed by god.

Again, it's time mankind left this childish reliance on bronze age myth's behind.

"I notice nobody took a shot at my original question. Instead, it's all about defending faith. How utterly sad."

You skimmed every thing and understood nothing. That's the sad part.

"It is that type of shallow thinking that enables gullible idiots to be convinced that strapping a bomb to their chest and taking innocent lives is a noble deed, directed by god."

Reread until it sinks in.

Of course Canadian Observer has never read Nietzsche nor understood his atheistic influence on the German mass murdering machine of the 1933 - 1945. Nor has he read Hegel and realized his atheistic views influenced atheist Marx and Marx's followers in the Russian, Chinese, Vietnamese killing machines of the 20th century.

Of course we won't go into the murder mills championed by atheist Morgentaler or the suggested 25 million Americans suggested for elimination by the atheist Bill Ayers.

I gave up on him. Just too dumb to play with.
