Is There Nothing That Obama Can't Do?

This sort of meanness we have come to expect from the democrats will continue until after the revolution.

Some of the comments on that site suggest the handles were removed for "winterization". I doubt it. Why walk around to dozens/hundreds/thousands of drinking fountains to remove the handles individually when you can just turn off the water at the source by turning off a few valves? Would save maqny hours of work. Silly liberals. Always lying to cover up for Obama's petty tyranny.

This is what ALWAYS happens when government bureaucracies come under scrutiny. It ALWAYS makes sure that it offers up the most visible "services" they provide. And frankly, anyone who does so should be summarily fired. It happens everywhere all the time. Even (maybe especially) in municipal politics. The first word out of the mouths of municipal politicians and their union sycophants is something along the lines of "we will have to lay off fire fighters so response times will be drastically increased".

It is simply another reason why government services must be kept to a minimum and why many services should be privatized. When the public sector reaches a certain point, the game is over because the public sector "workers" will support only those politicians who are in bed with them. One hand washes the other...

One other thought....did anyone actually see these government "workers" removing the handles? If so, were the "workers" riding bicycles and wearing brown shirts? Like this....

For anyone wanting to understand what is truly behind all this, I highly recommend checking out the website FrontPage Magazine where the whole speech (The Threat We Face) of David Horowitz is posted today, October 10. I think it is the best summary I have ever seen of the threat we face. While he is American and focuses on the situation there, we have exactly the same war happening here where the Liberals, NDP and Greens replace the American Democrats. It is the same agenda and the same tactics.

These guys must be doing this for free and therefore out of spite because this kind of thing costs money. I thought the government was shut down?

We were recently prohibited from going birding on a barrier island off the coast of Cape Cod because it is technically in the National Seashore Park. No one has ever seen a NPS employee on the island. However, if they will agree to keep part of the government closed, I will agree not to go to the island.
