Thanks for a beautiful video. Richie's an incredible person with incredible parents: not an ounce of self-pity in any of them.

Notice the prayer before their meal. I'll bet they're people of faith. So, added to the triumph of the will is God's grace and mercy, the fact that his parents loved him, didn't abandon him, and encouraged him every step of the way.
