Breaking: Shots fired at Capitol

I saw this:

"Washington D.C. police are responding to an incident at the U.S. Capital. Reports say shots were fired near the west- front of the capital building. The building is in lock-down. Reuters says several were injured."

Seriously, thoughts and hopes for the Capitol Cop and for anyone caught up in this situation.

Here is my assumption:
-the media will assume it is a lunatic Texas Republican redneck with an AR15 assault rifle hunting innocents and targeting blacks and women in particular
-it will turn out to be an Obama supporter with no AR15 who is shooting white Republicans because the person was not given an Obamaphone
-the media will blame Republicans for a culture of violence even though it was Democrats using the words "terrorist", "hostage-taker" and "anarchist" to describe Republicans on a regular basis

It's DC. It could be political or it could be something criminal that just happened to end near the Capitol.

President Obamba narrowly escaped an incident today, while away from the golf course.
A mad woman , an obvious homeschooler attempted to reach the Commander but was thwarted by security.

After suffering through the ordeal, Obama will prepare another speech for the Purple Heart he will certainly receive.

It will clash with, but nevertheless nicely accent, the Nobel Peace prize he won, ten minutes after his first swearing in.

So, in addition to locking vets out of their memorials during shutdown, the Obama brownshirts are shooting unarmed black women with children? I guess only wounding her was not an option since she probably couldn't registered for her not-free Obamacare anyway...

She was a black woman so this story will die almost immediately. It doesn't fit the narrative.

Probably a woman who accidentally hit a gate and then panicked when all the security elements began to surround her. When she finally stopped and stepped out of her car, the security folks shot her down.

As it turns out this is the worst diaper wetting between police and lamestream news in the centruy. A woman with baby crashed into a baracade and was executed by the brave capitol gestapo. All shots fired were by police, the woman was unarmed as was the baby - god save Amerika and its Fuhrer.

Given the fact that not so long ago, the United States faced down the threat of imminent nuclear war, you’d think the mainstream media would put the threat posed by a woman ramming some gates near the White House in some kind of perspective;

Instead, the incident prompted a contrived freak out with alarmist rolling news coverage which went from painting the incident as a potential terror attack with a poice gun battle; later it was confirmed that a mentally disturbed woman with a baby slammed into some police gates somewhere near the White House and panicked by driving off. It is confirmed that the woman and baby were unarmed and police were responsible for firing all of the shots.

It’s anyone's guess whether or not this will just be passed off as a mentally unstabe woman who tried to ram some gates, or as some racist government-hating, Obamacare critic desperately acting out on her political grievance.

But what’s certain is that the news media will get to enjoy weaving fanciful narratives about the incident over the next couple of days painting the police as heroes and justifying the obscene use of force while ignoring actual news stories that genuinely impact a significant number of Americans.

Self-defence is a reason for use of force just as much as the mandate for the Secret Service and the Capitol police to protect the WH and the Capitol.

Tourist with Connecticut licence plates gets confused on DC and makes wrong turn into barricades. Non-uniformed secret Service individual beats on her car and berates her while also plain-clothes buddy pulls a gun and points it. Woman with child panics and takes off amid blaze of gunfire. When she does stop with 20 cruisers in pursuit and gets out of car she is mowed down in a further hail of fire. Oh gosh, she was unarmed and had a kid in the car, must have been mentally disturbed.

If there was a death penalty for stupidity, the Secret Service and the DC police would have a lot of vacancies.

Yep. And George Zimmerman only had a broken nose and superficial cuts to his head.

And you can use force in defence of your life, deadly force exceeding the threat in the US.

And the police have a mandate.

This could be "suicide by cop". It happens, but it's rarely mentioned.

Facts: woman was a young single mom and being treated for post partum depression a year after the birth of the child according to her mother, no comment from the attending physician to confirm. No mention of the father.
Woman was driving an infiniti, not an entry level vehicle and something that you need to demonstrate a level of income and stability that would ensure you can make the payments.
Woman worked in health care.
Could her condition be related to a financial crisis?
Perhaps her health coverage, which was covering the cost of her therapy, has been adversely affected by the Affordable Healthcare Act? Under this assumption, would it not explain someones attempt to confront the person they see as responsible?
Would it also be a reasonable assumption that such conditions where ascerbated when the person they now hold responsible was previously presumed to be their savior with the promise of free health care? Further, that without the fulfillment of that promise, was the woman facing financial ruin, or a catastrophic life change?

If Obamba had a daughter, she'd look like.........

The cops over-reacted, perhaps thinking the worse, that the dark skinned woman could be a terrorist with a bomb in the trunk, they flipped out and gunned her down.

Yep like that "Empire State Building shooter" pursued by New Yark's finest, who succeeded in gunning down the perpetrator......and about 9-10 bystanders.

According to FBI stats...2 % of LCC shoots are the wrong guy....

So, what did this woman know? Why did the cops have to kill her? Massive overreaction, IMHO. A black woman, mad as hell about something, but what would that something be? Maybe it was something that would be bad PR for the Pres so the cops kill the bitch.
