Doping pigeons. Now I HAVE heard everything.

Still, $400,000 for a stud pigeon ain't bad,may have to invest in one of those m'self.

My father had racing homer pigeons all of his life until he passed away in 1979. He even hid birds under his bed when he was a teenager. Some of his birds won some long range international races in North America. These birds were pampered with good feed and care and trained continually before they began their racing career and in between races. No one in those days used drugs in their birds.

He did purchase a bird for breeding purposes from a Belgian breeder once, it got out and flew back across the ocean to Belgium to its former owner's home. The fellow sent it back and this time my father made sure it did not get out. Homing pigeons always return to their home, and therefore have to be kept in caged flyways.

This is a metaphor. Belgium is a fat bird about to become a Muslim dinner.Racing away into oblivion. Its own despoliation open for all to see with its social rot.

I'm having pigeon jambalaya for supper.
