About those two in Egypt

"Is it likely that these two extremists were going to Gaza to fly medicine by drone? Or is it more likely that they were planning to put the GoPro cameras on the drones and use them for surveillance?"

The two "humanitarians" story is starting to break down, piece by piece. By the time they get to trial, the truth will be known, and it may not be pretty.

The MSM has again failed to do due diligence, just presents the narrative complete with their own bias.

I hope their prison diet is okay, and they don't have to share their cell with a smoker.

So do we exactly know if the 72 virgens are male or female?

Moral of this story?

Don't get Robert Blake to write your cover story.

As usual these left wing radicals who hate our government and would love to destroy the way we live, in favour of their own utopian wet dreams, expect their pals in the CBC to come to their rescue. They are certain that the Canadian taxpayer [who they detest] has an obligation to save their sorry asses, and spend huge amounts of money so that they can continue to undermine everything we as a country beleive is right.

They are both where they need to be...karma wise...

And hopefully they rot there.

Justthinkin, I understand they would prefer the former, and no doubt they will get a taste of their glorious future in an Egyptian prison, if they have not already tasted the fruit thereof.

Ezra, I think we all know the answer.

The delivery of "medicine" by quadcopter is an absurd cover story. The only drug I can think of that one could deliver an appreciable amount of via such means is powdered fentanyl where 1 gram is 10,000 or more doses. Quadcopter payloads are measured in tens of grams, especially when one has a camera on board. Then, there's the matter of limited distance that these units can fly as battery power is the primary constraint.

Now I'm sure that the pali islamofascists would love to have such devices for precision bombing of Jewish settlements as it flies low and slow and thus doesn't show up on radar. Coincidentally, aerosolized fentanyl was what the Russian special forces used to knock out everyone in the opera house takeover in Moscow -- deadly if one doesn't get treated with naloxone in time. Other low weight but highly deadly payloads include botulinum toxin. Presumably Israel takes a dim view of RC aircraft hobbyists in the Gaza Strip. Given the great success of Israel's Iron Dome anti-Qassam rocket system, it wouldn't surprise me if the Gaza islamofascists were looking for a totally different means of attacking Israel.

Now if the Egyptians decide that these two moonbats were engaged in the arming of islamofascists, would they be prosecuted under the Canadian law that prohibits Canadians from arming people participating in foreign wars? I disagree with this law, but it exists and I'd be interested in the media reaction if these guys wound up in a Canadian jail after being deported from Egypt.

The gender of the virgins is irrelevant as they are all goats.

CBC is reporting that they have been released. mid island mike

The comments at the CBC are a good read for a change.

Once they get back to Canada, they should be having a talk with CSIS.

I suspect more mundane uses like filming "police brutality against unarmed people". the good news is that these two have had a taste of real life and had to have their butts saved by the people they despise. So everytime they speak up at a conservative function the MC can say "Hey ain't you the guy who's ass we saved in 2013?"
