  1. Both the CBC and the Syzuki group have very flexible value systems and accordingly their behaviour lacks any veracity.

  2. So, in fact, Sun News does! possess a video of Suzukie running away from Ezra yesterday – just watched the hour long exposure of Saint Jacuzzi.

  3. That tweet has the exact same time stamp, 5:25, as Kate’s post. Conspiracy!!1!!1 Conspiracy!!1!!1

  4. I was under the impression that ‘hardball’ was a very American game…

  5. I’m having a bit of trouble with that tweet.
I have always been under the impression that if you produced or co-produced a product, film, soundtrack, whatever, that meant that you were the owner/or part-owner of the film, soundtrack, whatever.
This sounds like one of the co-producers(Suzuki) is blackmailing the other co-producer(CBC) for a bit of extra cash, even though the producer employs the co-producer,or vice-versa.
Or,you wanna do bizness, lay down some moola, you ain’t my only customer.
I cannot see a stream of common sense here,so WTHeck?
It is like Hubie fronting money to Davey to buy some product. Davey takes the money, and then tells Guido that the product is worth more than they thought it would be. So,Hubie ,cough up some pretty polly or I’m selling this to that guy in Montreal.
That’s not right. In the real world,Hubie would own the whole project, and Davey would be never heard from again.
But,in the realm of socialist television,Davey profits,Hubie survives, and we all pay to watch it over again, and again, and again.

  6. My God Suzuki’s a douche bag. What they’re cooking up at the ROM sounds toxic.
Where the heck was the video filmed? It wasn’t outside the ROM. I know that landscape like the back of my hand. Was it in Ottawa?

  7. The nature of things over at the Mother Corpse is that Suzuki makes money hand over fist at their … er, at our … expense. Quite a little racket he’s got going.

  8. This is the beginning of the end of the CBCs tax funded garbage. There is absolutely no reason for this disgraceful waste of money to exist in the 21st century.

  9. I would like to say that this will be another nail in the coffin of the money pit that is the CBC but we all know that if the previous scandals haven’t done it in yet then this will be swept under the rug like everything else.

  10. It isn’t a question of Suzuki extorting the CBC for extra cash! The CBC has been funding this guy for over 40 years. Maybe the CBC thought they had to have a rationale for giving him more money. It isn’t like they have a serious problem in doing so. Progressives come up with all sorts of ways to fund him. University speaking engagements to foreign eco groups and possibly foreign OPEC countries.
The real question is how long will Canadian taxpayers have to fund an org like the CBC with the blatant political agenda it has? The CPC continues to write cheques to the CBC when it’s history supposedly runs 180 degrees against what they stand for. Who is kidding who here? When will the Canadian taxpayer actually be respected by a political party in Canada?

  11. Well CT, I expect that when the Conservative government took power they were told by the bureaucrats and the unions how things actually are run.

  12. About 4 more years or so. Depending on who wins the next election. The public has turned against the CBC and down town Toronto elites. Cuts are coming, and only a few union heads and CBC partisan hacks will care.
