It's all about Sharia law. Keep bringing them into Canada and tell me how many will ever be compatible with our way of life. If we need immigrants we can do a lot better than Islam.

I doubt any of them would, and we should protect them and their daughters as well as ourselves.

I think there are women who are either so well indoctrinated or so effectively coerced that they do want to live by Sharia.
I think the Salafi was going to get his butt kicked as soon as the cameras stopped rolling....and that would be a good thing. Ignorance and viciousness are their main calling cards. They are my enemy, of this I am sure.
The continual underlying threat that the Salafi was able to bring harm to the opposing person is the problem. Ordinary Muslims are not capable of facing their fear for family safety.
This failure to face the fear is what terrorism is founded on and petty tyrants will flock to their only means of strength whenever it is made available. sadly cheers;

I've known a couple. They didn't display the fixation with shoes that those two debaters seem to have. But they weren't living amongst Muslim majorities so perhaps they have it but took pains to hide it? Or is it an Egyptian thing? Conditions in Egypt sound like they could drive people crazy.
I agree. Read any of Ayaan Hirsi Ali's books. In case some of you are unfamiliar with who she is. She is of Muslim heritage, lived in the Netherlands, became a Dutch MP, spoke out against Islam and is now under constant police protection.
Ali had the "little operation" performed on her by her grandmother with her mother protesting against the operation and her father not home.
Some of the women of any faith or race can be the most vicious. Recall reading about prisoners of the Iroquois running the gauntlet and women being the most vicious.
If you replace "follower" with "true believer" (and I would include converts as true believers), I will agree. Many people are born into muslim societies, and are not insane, but just go along to get along, because they are all too well aware of the price of trying to leave.

Remember, these are the guys who think women are too emotional and irrational to do anything but hide indoors and breed.
And that's all they do because their lives depend on it. Look around at the Muslim community in GTA or Calgary and note how many have adopted their new found Canadian freedoms. Sadly, very few.
