Seems like a stretch for the prosecution. They rationalize "fear of imminent death is required for the use of deadly force", but I'm unsure as to how firing a shotgun into the air constitutes using "deadly force". Are they worried the pellets falling to earth will rain down on the "victims"?

It ill slowly sink in to people that in this era where governt presumes a 100% monopoly on truth, use of defensive force and justice, you will never be guiltless unless you are part of the government. They can defend themselves, you can't - vassal.

when did Biden & Obumbles replace bugs bunny as TV cartoon characters????

The guy's action was eminently sensible,he undoubtedly scared the hell out of the bastards who were trying to rob him,and that's fine with most people.

The "Biden" defence is a good one, politicians love to tell us what to do,so when we do just as they said, how can we be held responsible?

The particular law, that one has to be in "imminent danger" is vague enough the guy should get off. When any criminal enters your property you are in imminent danger.Who knows what the criminal may do. Are citizens expected to be mind readers now?

The belief that your life is in danger should be sufficient grounds to fire a warning shot into the air, the pellets aren't going to hurt anyone on the way down.

Like "occam" says, there's different laws for the ruling elite and the peasants, but in this case the peasant acted righteously.

Yeah if it's #6 or smaller.....00 buck would hurt....

A dutch guy, who went through the last great misunderstanding, in Holland, told of being in the field when the bullets of high overhead air combat came to earth....sweeping across the field like hail. He recalled a neighbor found dead over the shafts of a plow with a dead horse and a badly wounded one still hitched.....
