U.S. Democrats and their comrades have started shoveling money into the empty coffers in Detroit. Gotta keep the cult-like sycophants in the voter base loyal & strong!

About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

And the mismanagement that caused the problem will be gone? Or will Detroit suck up hundreds of millions in charity and piss it away? As long as citizens with money, white or black, consider it the last place they would live or do business nothing's happening.
They're still the brokest nation in history. This just help speed future history along.
I have a hole in my backyard where they can dump this money if they want to get rid of it.
Certainly better than wasting it on Detroit!!!
That would make sense. There money isn't actually worth anything.
Make Detroit safer,and remove blight?
Okay...first bring in CCW laws for Detroit. That's the safe part done.Second...raze the place to the ground and start over. That's the blight part solved.
A good idea! After a couple of years in the ground, it will be good for mulch!
"Gotta keep the cult-like sycophants in the voter base loyal & strong!" - precisely. Robert Mugabe's tactics work, for Robert Mugabe, and for Those who Rule in Washington. What a loathsome bunch they all are!
Rewarding low information voters for their bad choices won't make them change they way they vote thus perpetuating the problem. That is just what the Democrats who control the city want, a harvest of votes bought with other people's money.
Detroit won't get any better until the city government changes.
"Detroit won't get any better until the city government changes. "
Very true. And just maybe, once the Bambam phones stop working, and the food stamps run out,it will be changed.Starving people of any colour can be quite nasty with the ones that got them there, especially the generational welfare ones. You know, the "gimmies".
After the "black day in July" in the 1960's, the Feds poured millions into Detroit to build
affordable housing for the arsonists. It only took about 6 months after completion before these homes were absolute dumps. Trust me, this will be deja vu all over again.
The writings on the wall from Empire to Banana Republic.
Even Obamba had to come out the other day like a little African tin pot dictator to claim that the US was "Not a banana republic".
Enough said.
Detroit is the original vanishing point of any money. Lots will be fed to this burning pyre. Nothing will change its dying, or its greedy racial politics. That takes honesty, commitment, loyalty.Politicians with integrity. All of which Detroit has less of, than the Gobi desert water.
Its why the inhabitants fled the first time.
The Pols there will just gobble up the cash, with no regret.
No one will move back to a Tax trap.
Dennis Miller has predicted that the moment the 2014 mid-term elections are over, Obama & comrades will start giving Detroit and unprecedented volume of money, well beyond the initial amount described here.
Call in an airstrike and bulldoze what's left.Plant trees and grasslands....finished.
just build a huge septic tank and flush her in.
Whatever it costs to keep the people in Detroit, IN DETROIT,
is worth it.
That would be 100 mil for the mayor.
The other 200 mil will be split up among the mayors closest friends
Well, maybe the money might be spent wisely:
Sperling said all of the parties have been working to find ways not only to make funds more flexible so they can be used where most needed, such as for demolition
I'm sure the military can help with that; daisycutter bombs combined with some very large fuel-air explosive devices should have the area cleaned up in no time. Such an operation would have the added advantage of saving the government huge amounts of money in trying all of the politicians involved in theft of city funds.
