Just can't get enough

Minnesota Democrat Congressman Keith Ellison:

"The bottom line is we're not broke, there's plenty of money, it's just the government doesn't have it."

Sounds about right. That's what socialism is all about and although its failure rate is 100%, this time Obama will get it right. Forward. Capitalism gave us a lifestyle that was the envy of the world but Socialism makes sure that the wealth is shared, until the wealth creators wonder why they bother, since it's taken away from them anyway. The drones eagerly vote Democrat as a form of profit sharing and will until there is no longer a profit to share. Seems illogical but always works until the gravy train jumps the tracks. Pity they replaced history lessons with sex ed.

At least he is forthright about the damage he intends to cause.
It would helpful if his fellow robbers in politics and those
who have similar intentions in their dark hearts but lack the
courage to proclaim their evil were honest enough to argue the
case up front.

"The bottom line is we're not broke, there's plenty of money, it's just the government doesn't have it."
Got that right.I think the game Monopoly has what you are looking for.

Given that more than 50% of Americans are on some form of assistance (from food stamps to housing allowances) and there is a permanent unemployment figure hovering around 20%, and over 30% of the work force is either marginally employed or under-employed, and Banks are complaining that most Americans have no savings or investment money, a Polly Anna statement like that reveals morbid ignorance of how the American wealth engine functions.

every day when I wake up and read news items or blogs I am confronted with stupidity. Ellison is just another in a long line of stupid people elected by equally stupid people. we can only hold on for the ride to the bottom. then those of us who are able will have to pick up the pieces and start over.

It is at the point now that even if capital goes on strike it will not make a difference to the ultimate end game. Obama said it himself the other day when he condemned private capital for the size of their bank accounts. The Demo government and its supporters know that when push comes to shove they can take what they want/need. I also suspect a good number of Republicans think the same way.

What seems to escape Americans and Canadians is that we are no different than the Cypriots or Greeks. Government debt is secured by the citizen's assets. We can blithely condemn government waste and spending but we will pay.

...his fellow robbers in politics...

Ironic; the green Robbing Hood hat.

A good days work....shoot a commie/socialist,have brekkie, shoot the next one who shows up,go to your actual producing job, shoot one on coffee break, back to work, target practise at lunch, back to work, one, maybe two at 3PM coffee break, back to work, head for home at 5PM.
Hummmmm....should only take about 2 generations to clean out the socialist scum.If only we where so lucky.

If he only had a brain.

Jezzzz.

"The bottom line is we're not broke, there's plenty of money, it's just the government doesn't have it."

Let me change that to reflect the none stated part

"The bottom line is we're not broke, there's plenty of money, it's just the government hasn't had the chance to steal it all yet ."

"The bottom line is we're not broke, there's plenty of money, it's just the government doesn't have it."

Circular argument. There's plenty of money precisely because the government doesn't have it.

And now there's probably less money out there: I wonder how many billions just "disappeared" electronically from US banks to safe havens offshore five seconds after Ellison blurted out the above remarks...

IOW the US (socialist) government hasn't run out of its (others')people's money yet.

Give them time.

I have said, with snark, that the Democrats are going to one day demand a 100% tax on our salaries and give us allowances.

Ellison is helping prove me right.
