Yes, this just confirms what we all knew; that Liberals are a bunch of sociopathic shit heads. But I don't see any death blow here.

Typical politico stuff. It is clear they new they had a problem and needed to do something - prorogate.

The death blow is to Canadian society as a whole...Those who are observant spotted the play as it happened, often pointing out the fraud, yet the majority looked on. That's the problem...

You can bet the observant where told to shut their yaps, or be fired .
Too much money in the game for others leeching off the system

The intricacies of this public financial rape are yet to be exposed...

I'm be more concerned with how the senate spending scandal is affecting the Harper government's brand.

Justin in 2015.

Sadly, the only mileage this scandal gets is in this and like conservative blogs and the Sun News organization. Ontario voters have the memory recall of the average Obama voter, i.e. none. About the only thing on the tiny brains of the majority of Canucks is probably the banning of "killer" snakes or about anything else that has little relevance to the real world.

Sadly, Texas_Canuk is right. Liberals are like 95% focused on power and the remainder of their attention is focused on personal ($) gain.

That's all I see from these grifters.

It appears from these e-mails that the McGuinty gang have a few media people in their pocket.

I'm shocked.

Doesn't matter, does it?

Until we have an opposition leader who has the balls and savy to out Wynne and her rotten lying pieces of shit as rotten lying pieces of shit - not much is going to change.

I noticed that too wally. I've only read the 'prorogation' section.

Direct e-mails with a G&M staffer, who needed a few facts 'explained.'

BTW you can all thank my MPP Vic Fedeli, Nipissing Riding.
He has been the main force getting these e-mails, and other messes exposed.

Of course Hudak is happy to let someone else do the work.

I have no problem with any member of the PC Party doing the work, it's called teamwork. When the Party starts sniping and bitching about it's own leader in public, breaks down into teams we lose.
The Federal Liberals are a case in point.

I take home from this that even the insiders can't figure out who made what decisions. Or are at least smart enough to leave the premiere's name out of it in writing.

I've often mused out loud that it would be nice to corner -the- guy who made XYZ decision/policy and really "thank" him for it. But it seems that these government people go to a tremendous amount of effort to avoid being that guy. No decision is ever attributable to a single individual or even a small group.

Guess I'll just have to go on blaming Dalton for all of it then. Most unsatisfying I must say.

Wonder if Dalton took a page out of Chretien's playbook when he tossed money to the wind for what became Adscam and in turn took no blame, flobbed it off as "what's a few million?" then claimed to have no clue where it went. Bigger story here though is the gas plant scandal beats Adscam by millions and it's only one province.

The Captain doesn't jump ship in a crisis, Dalton jumped ship, some Captain, some ship.

For the past several decades ALL large organizations staffed by thousands of people - governments; corporations; bureaucracies of ALL sorts - leave no trail of evidence how, when or by whom their 'controversial' decisions are made. It has become a form of high art, and a la "1984" this NON-communication is usually housed in a department called "Communications."

When in doubt ALWAYS follow the money ...which in THIS case leads to and through those hedge fund lenders for the cancelled power plants. FOLLOW THE MONEY!!!

when U have a loser driving the boat, she'll run aground, now we've had two lasers in a row at the helm of good ship PC here in Ontario, time voters yelled up a little louder. The party needs to drop the requisite "bible-in-hand" for potential leaders

To follow the money in the Dalton disaster one would need to be equipped with a gyroscope for getting through the web of lies and deceit alone.

As modest proposal to cure the kleptocray.
Fill the Senate with auditors who hunt.
Change the service to forensic stalking of bureaucrats, issue live ammo and absolute power to terminate employment.
Every government employee should receive a visit from an angry auditor, who can fire them, at whim, for failing to completely answer all questions.
No one has the right to be employed by the public, public waste is theft of public treasure and it is seldom that apparent govt waste does not benefit cronies and colleges of our politicians.
Of course we will probably be carrying out impromptu treason trials on our leaders soon enough, as they destroy law and social order, steal more from us every years, while insisting that the institutions are unable to serve us, the obvious question arrises, "What do we need you for?"
Think about it, our governments at all levels, have extorted money from taxpayers, for services they now state, they cannot provide.
It is called breech of contract, or why would you continue to do business with liars and thieves?

If voters weren't viscerally sick to their stomachs with Dalton McGuinty and Kathleen Wynne before, they won't be now. Liberal voters are stupid. Period. They are also stubborn and will never change their minds.

This information is still good to know, however.

I'd be embarrassed to report that Dalton Macslimy could cover up a scandal with planted stories, doesn't say much for liberal media. Oh look a butterfly, write a story on a butterfly not the gas plant scandals.

Nobody expects the butterfly!

(rare Simpsons reference)

The Liberal media? Indeed. Who else could drone on ad nauseum about Mike Duffy all the while ignoring Dalton McGuinty?
