  1. Is the silence because of the thought that if one can’t say anything nice about a person that one should stay silent?

  2. “Helen Thomas, Pioneer of progressive ideas like: Hey let’s put the Jews on a train and send them back to Europe where they belong.” – Eric Larson

  3. For ordinary people a respectful send-off is standard fair.
But occasionally an individual is so rancid, and such a bad influence that their death and departure makes the world a better place. As it went with Turdo Sr – so it goes with this awful wretch of a woman.
I shall drink a toast to her passing

  4. I’m sick of letting the famous and powerful off the hook because they’ve become dead. Dead is not “cleansed”. It’s just dead.

  5. Where ever they bury her warty old butt, should be posted as a toxic spill site immediately..

  6. True Kate, but it is futile, the flood of stupidity of the masses and revisionist history is what you will be fighting in a couple of days.

  7. Sad. She had recently seen the light, and was just beginning to turn her life around…

  8. Helen’s work will live on, though, as generations of White House press corps minions will lob softball questions at Democrats and give the third degree to Republicans.

  9. My Momma always said, “If you can’t say something nice then say nothing at all”. Therefore I will say nothing at all.

  10. Helen WAS quite taken aback by the “control” of the Press by the Obama White House and did remark on it in 2009.
No one noticed as they were all too busy being in love with Obama.

  11. If Helen Thomas does go to heaven, I hope she ends up as one of
the 72 virgin brides for one of her beloved suicide bombars.

  12. Well she’s been dead for hours and I don’t miss her yet. I’ll let you know if I start to miss her.

  13. And the world has become a better place with her passing. A hideous person that did much harm in her days on earth.

  14. She was a nasty piece of work to be sure, and I’m not sorry she’s gone, but lets save our breath for loathing the people who are REALLY harming us in the here and now like Obama and his minions who are an existential mortal threat to us all, both collectively and as individuals.

  15. It’s just dead — not famous, not powerful; and in respect of cleanliness, that’s the undertaker’s job, really, which could be discomfiting even for him/her. But you knew that.

  16. That tweet is all wrong. It should be …This day an eerie silence fell on American journalism’s basement

  17. Another failed icon of self destructive progressivism dies off – I’d cheer but it’s too depressing realizing 10 more unicorn riders will take her place.

  18. In her case speaking ill of the dead does not apply.
All her poison still lives, thanks to her watering the water with lies for so many years.
We all end up physically fertilizer in the end ( God only knows what will happen to her soul). For most of us though, our moral legacy is not one of malice that marches on in a goose step.

  19. I’ve got a little list,
    I’ve got a little list,
and they’ll none of them be missed.
and none of them be missed.

  20. Good news and bad news for Helen:
Good News – She gets 72 Jihadist martyrs.
Bad News – They require assembly.

  21. For some reason lipstick on a pig come to mind when looking at a video of this old fart.
Lipstick sales are sure to take a downturn.

  22. Is there some kind of superstition or religious belief that says one should never speak badly of the dead? Are there also repercussions attached to such beliefs? If there are repercussions a lot of us might be in deep trouble!
