Feeling a bit irritable tonight? Misanthropic to the point of apoplexy? Looking for someone to take it out on, to be a lightning rod for your contempt? Well, imagine sitting around a campfire with a bunch of friends and seeing a 1965-issue Barry McGuire wander over from a neighbouring campsite, grab a beer, affect a wide stance, and start singing Eve of Destruction.
It never happened but I’m still annoyed about it.

  7. News you will never see on CBC or any other Lamestream news. Thousands of Moslems blocking people from their homes 5 times a day, and shutting down whole sections of Paris 5 times a day for prayers. The media will not report and the Police will do nothing.   9. We are on the path to destruction, but barring a match that lights the fuse of panic, it will be more like a slow motion train wreck and then the last second before the crash eyes will open and everyone will exclaim OMG and WTF.

  15. The article in the first comment (EBD on July 6, 2013 10:05 PM) makes the Mounties in High River appear almost saintly. It looks more like a home invasion than a police action and should be treated as such.

  19. Hard to limit Muslim immigration to Canada because for one thing, Quebec favours people who have French as a first,second or third language. So people from Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, etc. get extra points.

(TRN), the biggest railcar producer, began converting wind-tower factories last year to help meet demand for train cars that can transport the petroleum product.
    All three are getting a boost from a shale-oil boom that’s poised to make the U.S. the world’s largest crude producer by 2020. Rail carloads of crude tripled last year to more than 200,000, and demand for tanks designed for it soared, helping both Trinity and American Railcar outstrip the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index.

    Amazing site esp. if, like me, you’ve come to feel that most partisan political punditry is only so much cheerleading for this wing over that wing of the crime family.
    While the site is conservative it is extremely diverse in its topic matter.
    First thing this morning, at about 5 am, I must have spent an hour on this site including an extended look at those colourized pix.
    Many riches in the side bar on the right.

  25. Perhaps an interesting development in the Quebec oil car derailment. It appears that the train was parked, but then some how the brakes were released, causing the out of control train to derail somehow.
    How did the brakes release?

  26. Apparently earlier on that evening, a fire had to be dealt with on the train. Fishy.

  27. Anybody read Gunter’s articles in the Sun? He’s on the rcmp over their breakins in High River. Even by Canadian standards this kind of police behaviour can’t be tolerated.
    This event should scare all Canadians not just conservatives. Have we now finally slipped into the third world with respect to what the rcmp can get away with? What’s next? Who’s next?
    One might reasonably expect a blog like SDA would be all over this.
