  1. Some years ago the local preacher came to Grampa’s farm to see if he could hunt whitetail. A few days later he returned with a share of his bounty a venison roast. We all went to Grampa’s to share the roast only to find out that the good preacher must have gut shot the deer and run it for 20 miles because it was so rancid the dog wouldn’t eat it.

  5. Honestly the best way to age deer is deboned and in the fridge. It’s the closest thing to a climate controlled cooler the everyday man has. I tried the technique about 5 years ago and it’s works amazingly well!
