  1. Probably only 1/4 of Americans read newspapers. The rest trust CNN.
    I do enjoy watching the big leftist newspapers fail – Schadenfreude ist die beste Freude – how useful it is is another matter.

    As citizens become more jaded with the Obama administration will that also reflect on how they feel about the Mainstream Media who have been Obama’s biggest boosters?
    Maybe we that is part of what is driving this trend. The MSM has bet their business future on the Obama Administration.
    Note how the decline in trust of the MSM coincides with their support for political correctness over the same time period.
    The wages of deception are mistrust.

  6. Here’s the thing though, no matter how depraved the political establishment is, no matter how embroiled in scandal after scandal, some critical mass of the electorate will only respond with a “Do I still get my check?”

  7. I trust my local newspaper, just not anything with a Reuters or Associated Press byline. That means I like the Weather Report, Sports and the local knitting news.
