Do you remember Baghdad Bob? The Obama regime has several cult members adoring sycophants like “Bob”, who will say ANYTHING to avoid coming anywhere near the truth. It’s long overdue that journalists like Neil Cavuto have grown tired of being lied to.
Facts versus fiction. Obama operates, totally, in a fictional realm and he has imposed His fictions and the necessity to deny factual reality, on much of the USA.
Denial of Reality. That’s not a new mantra; that’s basic Obama.
The key thing to note about Obama is that his entire focus is on: His Power. Period. Nothing else. No ideology trumps this need-to-control. It’s all about: Him.
To achieve this, he misinforms (aka lies); emotionally manipulates using either hope or fear; and divides to conquer. He sets up a fictional realm and you MUST believe it. Or, if he can, he’ll destroy you (Petraeus)..or..you simply will cease to exist.
What Obama doesn’t feel that he can’t control, he moves out of his Virtual World.
Consider what he’s done; he’s turned much of the Democratic Party into mindless, hapless sycophants. They are struggling to get our of this mental morass but with people like Reid, Pelosi etc, it’s difficult for an individual Democrat to ‘breathe fresh, FACTUAL air’.
He’s reduced a majority of the US population to economic and conceptual dependents on His federal govt – more than 47% don’t pay federal taxes; the food stamp, welfare, disabled population has soured under Obama. AND, not only are these people financially dependent on Obama, but he’s got them electronically linked up to HIM! He’s given them all SmartPhones that connect automatically to His Propaganda Centre – and he puts out What They Must Think on a regular basis. The Third Reich would love it.
And, a key tactic is to destroy his opponents. You are absolutely not allowed to disagree with The Obama. His tactics are never to debate the issue, but to destroy, personally, the opponent. And all his tactics will be illegal; leaks, lies and unverifiable assertions.
If factual reality tries to intrude on this Virtual World of Obama, he’ll deny it. He’ll try to blame it on others (Bush, GOP, rogue individuals, workplace violence, a video..blah blah). He’ll set up, heh, an ‘investigation’ which will mean that, ah, he can’t talk about it because ‘it’s under investigation’. Heh. Neat.
And, then he’ll campaign, presenting Himself always as the eager-to-please, adolescent, pure 17 year old, who is never told anything, who has to find out all these bad things in the paper, who is astonished and upset about all these bad things, but gosh, he’s really trying to do good and isn’t Congress terrible???
And then, he declares, ‘yes, we must have a discussion about this’…ignoring that his White House is behind it all; presents himself always as that eager 17 year old…who is astonished and hurt by ‘all these bad things’.
Look, he’s pathological, he’s a sociopath. And the Democrats are in a real mess. Either they choose to continue to live in a world of fiction. Or they wake up..and face the facts.
It’s amazing!! Both Obama and Holder look the camera or the individual that asks the question about the duck on the table in front of the camera and they say there is no duck. End of discussion. There do you feel better now that there’s no duck?
I thought that Fast and Furious would be the breaking point and absolutely nothing came of it. They just said, “I know nothing” “I got the news from the newspapers”, in spite of there being an abundant paper trail, and nothing comes of it. Enough to make a man Pig Biting Mad!!!

What worries me, is that all the true believers are deeply embedded in all federal institutions across the USA. It will take decades to root them out and expel them if possible at all. When you have the IRS and EPA targeting law abiding citizens with impunity, you are lost. Not a single employee has been punished or fired for Bengazi (except for demotions for whistleblowers), IRS, the harassment by EPA, the DOJ scandal (the AG lied to either a judge to get a search warrant, or to Congress), Fast and Furious, not prosecuting the Black Panthers for voter intimidation, the list seems endless. And no one has paid the price. “Most Transparent and Accountable Administration ever”. Really?

Rick, I don’t think that it will take decades to root out the ‘true believers’.
My own view is that these people are in a way, empty buckets, Slaves-to-a-Master. Replace Master Obama with another Master (a leftist!) and they’ll follow that person. This person can be less focused on personal power and vendettas against opposition than Obama, ie, someone like a Bill Clinton.
That is, except for the gang around Obama (Jarrett etc), these people are ideologically very shallow; they do like to be ‘part of a club’ and if you replace the cult of Obama with a ‘service to the people’..they’ll follow that.
What I see as a problem is the current refusal to acknowledge that the institutions of the state, eg, IRS, DOJ, EPA, FBI etc have be come politicized because of Obama and that this connection to Him, must be broken. Obama is extremely skilled at Playing the Innocent and covering his tracks. Extremely skilled.
And, another problem is the huge ratio of dependents in the US. They’ve got to reform their income and other taxes, impose a flat tax and a Values Sales Tax.

I do feel equivocal about the defeat, as it looked as though the US policy was headed toward chemical weapons in the hands of Islamic militants.
BTW the American sequester has apparently resulted in the halting of maintenance on American military aircraft, and hence their effective grounding. I don’t know if this is “just” naval aviation or the USAF as well. However, to the extent that it is true (and I was told it by ex-USN types) the US is in fact nearly impotent in the Middle East.

I agree that the true believers are imbedded in every institutions, but this has not just happened during the last five years. Just like in Canada, a more radical leftist crop coming out of the universities has over the last couple of decades worked their way into both governmental and some non-governmental institutions and we see the result more openly.
Patsplace is right about Obama’s people just knowing what he wanted, and I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory, but having a little knowledge of how Bolshevism works, I really think that there are people behind the scenes like Alinsky et al that are involved. We know that initially van Jones was not the only openly known radical in the administration. I forget the names of the others who left because of public resistance.

I suspect that the latest scandal, the NSA one, is a “hey look a squirrel” tactic by the White House. It sucked up most of the oxygen on the Sunday talk shows and is something that can be easily be blamed on earlier administrations (read blame Bush). The real scandals- Benghazi and the IRS have slipped out of the limelight.
Obama and his minions may be the most mendacious folks to run an administration ever, but they are very effective at changing the narrative. The Republicans need to keep hammering away on Benghazi because that is where a real scandal lies. To paraphrase a tiresome trope from days past- Obama lied, people died.
It’s all very well and good to say what Obama is or may be but keep in mind that a political culture put him where he is. Leftists in all fields- the media included- helped place him in a position where his incompetence/ideology/narcissism/evil would do the most damage. So people are waking up to find that Obama and people like him are SOBs. How do you upend these SOBs and what do you do with the people who helped them rise to power? Dare I invoke Godwin’s Law, what good did it do the Allies when the average German realised that Hitler was a mad tyrant who dragged them into a war they were losing badly? The damage was done. So, too, the damage here is done. It will take years to fix because it is not just a matter of impeaching Obama; one must also hold to account those who painted him as a god.
