It’s now treason to defend the Constitution? The times they are a changin. I don’t think the NRA says to overthrow the government. The NRA says a legimate need for guns is the possible overthrow of the government should democracy end.

This stuff is so common these days it barely rates a second look, much less a comment.
He’s definitely not a Constitutional Law professor.
He’s complaining about so-called treason by people who he says want to overthrow the government. Has anyone reminded him that his country was founded on treason, a rebellion against its lawful sovereign at the time, a revolution that established a constitutional republic to replace the monarchy, and that the founders of that republic declared that people have not only the right to overthrow their government if it doesn’t serve them, they have the duty to do so?
Th trouble with morons that continue in college long enough to get a credential, the degree does not prevent them from remaining morons. This does not know the American definition of treason.Treason requires siding with the enemy and giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Treason does NOT include overthrow (or attempted overthrow) of the government. That definition is what we fought our revolution for. To disobey the king or his representative was treason.
This dumbazel is referring to either sedition or insurrection, not treason. Being in the public employ, he should be fired for being so dumb and for forcing political opinions while on the public payroll.
There is an expression that goes back to Roman times, if not before. “Treason never prospers, for if it did, none dare call it treason.” This guy better be careful, just in case someone remembers his name and the insurrection he is alluding to prospers. He may be the one fired (at).

As Old Country Boy noted, this moonbat doesn’t even know the meaning of the word “treason”. The NRA supports the US constitution, something which can’t be said for the TOTUS.
The most recent unconstitutional act that the TOTUS is perpetrating on the US is his plan to sign the UN small arms treaty. This is a document which shreds the US 2nd amendment and, any president who signs this should be impeached.
The “journalism professor” probably hasn’t a clue of the high regard that those in the US military hold the US constitution. The weaponry that he fantasizes being used on the NRA will most likely be used on the traitors which currently infest the US government should the situation in the US deteriorate.

These lefties constantly refer to their opponents/critics as being on the wrong side of history….when what they fear is the reality that they could be on the wrong side of a successful revolution (firing squad).

It was the Norths industrial power that won the American civil war.. They out produced the south many times over in both materials and man power.. The politics behind this victory had nothing to do with it..
Today with Americas northern industry gone and Abraham Lincoln’s dream 20 trillion dollars in debt its a given that the south will rise again.. Except this time the south will have everything it needs to fight and win such a civil war..
Any industry left in the US in in the south where wadges are lower.. The south produces the best solders America has to offer.. The south has abundant resources.. Its not 1860 anymore guys..
Cut a deal with Mexico to give California back and the north will be looking to Canada for help?
