The Washington Post's official twitter feed:

Who's tweeting about Benghazi? Rich, middle-aged men and Chick-fil-A lovers.

Astonishing.

Be sure to read the responses underneath.

Presidents of ABC and CBS News Have Siblings Working at White House With Ties to Benghazi.

You'd think that if "rich, middle-aged men and Chick-fil-A lovers" were talking about this, the Washington Post would be exposing the Benghazi crisis in order to blame them for it.

Alas, it doesn't pass the smell test.

Some real classics replies. "Tube steak swallowers" ROFL

Washington Post, December 8, 1941.

Who cares about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor? The hotels and beaches were not touched!

The media is becoming the story, a very sick story .
Chris C, thanks for the link, the family connections explain the overreach of these media , having morphed into obvious propaganda over the last decade.

So what Wapo is saying is that this demographic is the only one which is well informed.
Interesting.
Oh, and Chick-fil-A is planning on opening it's first Canadian location at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
Lucky folks in the City of Mushrooms, I envy ya.

Chris Stevens was gay,so why the chick-fil-a remark?

The WaPo can't even think their slurs through before putting them out.

Wally, in the comments at Malcolm Pollack's blog (the first link in the above post), one of his readers asks:

"The comment about Chik-Fil-A really confuses me. I know he is using it (wrongly) to mean homophobe, but is it now assumed that Benghazi is a concern of homophobes?

Pollack replies,

It’s those damned white males: that racist, xenophobic, bitter, Eurocentric, gun-clinging, privileged, greedy, gay-bashing, retrogressive, black-hearted, corporate-jet-owning, bigoted, fascist cancer on the human race. The Emmanuel Goldsteins of the modern world, the one thing goodthinkful people are actually allowed to hate, and who, if they resist re-education, should save everyone else the trouble of exterminating them by slinking away to die.

Those guys.

I think he's right that the Chick-fil-A reference is shorthand, just one of those standard-issue, passively-absorbed, meaningless slurs that's sort of a numb shorthand for "non-progressive" or "unaware" or "hick who isn't down with the Obamacrat program."

Chick-fil-A was in the prog news - including the WaPo - for a long time, so at this point any reference to it is just a verbal/textual equivalent of a sneer.

In an era where the government commits multiple high crime which dwarf Watergate, and it is whitewashed or dismissed by the MSM, we know who the real enemy of the people is.

"Rich" middle-aged men? I'm confused. I thought homophobic racist teabaggers were all illiterate edentate white trash, idiot pawns of the Koch brothers and such.

p.s. WaPo, DIAF.

I thought Zero was a rich, middle-aged man and he could care less.

JB1000 "Who cares about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor? The hotels and beaches were not touched!"

Didn't Hillary say Pearl Harbor doesn't matter? Or was that Benghazi? They seem like the same thing to me.

If a revolution breaks out in America . You can bet every second lamp post, will be a Journalist dangling from one.
This group has even beat lawyers at the bottom for being vilified. Nobody likes traitors. Not even the ones they side with.

In the business world I believe having contacts or family on the inside is called "insider trading" and is considered illegal or at least unethical, apparently not so in the Lefty/Obama universe.
