Disenchanted members of Gov. Cuomo's administration, embarrassed by the worsening government scandals and convinced that Cuomo won't be president, will soon leave their jobs -- just as the governor is stepping up plans to run for re-election next year.
The Government is facing an exodus of senior energy and climate change advisers amid growing concerns that decisive action to tackle global warming is falling victim to Treasury intransigence.

Is it just me or does the fact that the UK has a Department of Energy and Climate Change signal that we have already "jumped the shark" as a society.
More flotsam than jetsam probably.
Nope Mike. For the metaphor to work it has to be jetsam. Flotsam (in this case) would represent the UK Gov't or Cuomo.
This shark was jumped a long time ago. Remember how long Tony Blair and Gordon Brown were in office. And the Tories were no better. Not that long ago Stuntman Dave took a vanity flight to Norway just so he could stand on a glacier and proclaim that global warming was melting the ice under his feet. This is the same PM who not too long ago had the dismal Zac Goldsmith as his key environment and energy advisor.
As for the three leaving the government, there's a trio of pinheads none of whom will be missed.
Oh good one, Lance. I was thinking about the minions floating away
Yeah, those bean-counters over at Treasury keep screaming "ARE YOU INSANE??!"
The walls of the soviet-Dem empire are crumbling - too much control freak autocracy too soon. They forgot that to boil the frog you must turn the heat up s-l-o-w-l-y.
what gets me is they call Camaroon a conservative, that SOB (like most Uropee-in right wingers) is pretty damn pinko. It'll be nice if a real conservative stands up in the legislature one of these days.
Quote: "...decisive action to tackle global warming is falling victim to Treasury intransigence."
Not quite true. It should read: "...decisive action to tackle global warming is falling victim to the intransigence of the Laws of Physics."
2012 was the last year that "global warming" will ever be a major issue in a US presidential election. Just like Algore in 2000 was the last of gun control as a presidential issue, global warming is over.
Probably the next election will be over "are we going to have a currency or not?"
