I see the CPC candidate in Newfie land is campaigning in his byelection by arguing that he is in a better position to bring 'goodies' back than a Liebel or Dipper candidate. My opinion of CBS's Scott Pelly may have to change. Why? Because something he said recently may be indicative of a bedrock change that is starting to take place in the field of journalism.
In accepting the Fred Friendly First Amendment Award, Scott Pelly admits that they're getting the big stories wrong, over and over again.
I can only hope that the link to the video below is clicked on and watched by every journalist and becomes a watershed moment and a wake-up call for all of them. There are so many things that are wrong in the field of journalism today and so much that needs to change.
