Benghazi: U.S. diplomat contradicts White House

What difference, at this point, does it make?

The deputy of slain U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens has told congressional investigators that a team of Special Forces prepared to fly from Tripoli to Benghazi during the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks was forbidden from doing so by U.S. Special Operations Command South Africa.

The account from Gregory Hicks is in stark contrast to assertions from the Obama administration, which insisted that nobody was ever told to stand down and that all available resources were utilized.

Diplomat: U.S. Special Forces told "you can't go" to Benghazi during attacks

So it's worse than just ignoring the problem, they knew of the problem and washed their hands all those in Benghazi.

Thus, were it not for Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, you would be looking at approximately 40 or so dead...

Yes, well now that the rest of the world also knows that the Administration managed to disgrace itself, we can all look forward to 'enhanced prevarication' by the parties ostensibly responsible.

I am willing to bet that the 40 or so survivors are mighty grateful to Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty; but because it reflects badly on the Administration, the true level of their commitment has not yet been told...I'm looking FORWARD! to the Benghazi survivor interviews.

Cheers

If anybody you know calls this a witch hunt you should tell them it's not nice to call Hillary names

That all of these "revelations" are finally being taken seriously by the media is pretty sick. Much of what's being "revealed" was known to most of us on the blogs that were paying attention just a few days after the Benghazi attack. As many others have pointed out, Benghazigate makes Watergate look like a Sunday School picnic.

I sincerely hope that when the magnitude of the willful ineptitude and callousness of, and the elaborate and cynical coverup by, the Obama administration is known, Obama's goose will be cooked. I'd love to see him and his hoity-toity wife out of the White House. Watching them justly disgraced would be a joy.

So Kate...don't be harassing The Lord Peter now...

"The end of the Obama administration..."

Sure...

One must start asking some really important questions, not simply how this attack was carried out or who did not to stop it but why did it happen. Remember that Ambassador Stevens was a pointman for a gun-running scheme. Tying up loose ends in this administration is a death sentence.

I guess CBS can report on the story now that Ohbummer has been safely re-elected.

OBOZO getting turfed...not gonna happen....

An such attempted agenda will be interdicted by those eminent statesmen such as Elijah Cummings, Jesse Jackson, Morgan Freeman, the Reverand .........
