  3. If these are your typical students the would not even know what IRS stands for. They have never paid taxes, never been audited and have never had contact with these power tripping thugs. At the rate the country is being socialized there’s a good chance they never will. Nanny will look after them. At least until Nanny runs out of other peoples money.

  10. Politically speaking, I think it is a poor tactical choice for the GOP to frame this debate/enquiry as the IRS vs TEA Party. The TEA Party has been so demonized that in the mind of the majority of Americans(GOP supporters included) that the TEA Party is akin to the Nazis; and therefore, the victims of the IRS scandal (conservatives) are not reaping the political benefit of an outraged electorate.
    The issue should have been framed by the GOP as the IRS vs. Conservatives. THIS would have painted a much clearer picture for the “low information voters”.
    As it stands now, the IRS vs. TEA Party meme might as well be the IRS vs. Racism/Sexism/Homophobia…
    I’ve never seen a bigger bunch of so called ‘conservative’ dunderheads as those in the GOP. I truly feel like this is exactly what LPC supporters must feel like back home in Canada.

    I fear the first victims of the forthcoming tyranny will be those of the Boomer generation and their parents(mostly old white guys). The commies will be coming for their equity, their benefits, and whatever else they can grab. After all, all of that wealth was gained at the expense of minorities, women, the environment blah blah blah… is what they will say.
    I came to this stark realization after witnessing the Left’s treatment of John McCain in the 08′ election cycle. There are Dark days, ahead one way or the other.

  14. It should have been framed as the IRS targeting people based on their political beliefs. As in if this doesn’t stop we can and will do it to liberals if we get a conservative in office. This needs to be framed so that every douchebag who signed that card would understand that their pet cause group WILL be audited by the IRS if a conservative gets in office. What’s fair is fair. If these people think it’s ok for a liberal then it’s ok for a conservative full stop.

  20. It doesn’t surprize me that this scandal has occurred. The American press has not done a good of job holding the Obama administration to a high level of standards. Naturally Obama’s people get sloppy, thinking they have carte blanche to do as they will.

  23. Thank-you Ken (kulak) for once again pointing out the template for the Iwon administration. The majority of people in the west are not aware of what you speak (the Communist Reign of Terror) because Canadian schools, after 1967 (the turdo Iwon won the election) whitewashed the horrors in the USSR (turdo was a great fan of the USSR – he sent them gifts whenever he could – he once sent them a whole shipload of wheat for free; his pals in the head thugs clique were likely pleased but because those thugs hated the Russian people so much they allowed that ship’s contents to sit in the port and rot rather than give the Russian people wheat from Canada . The msm (esp CBC) were, in the vast majority, supporters of the thugs in the Soviet Union (far above the supporters in the msm for President Regan, President Kennedy or Margaret Thatcher). Universities taught Communism as a just and good cult ‘religion’ for the ‘modern citizen’.
    People here still will not read Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s books because they are ‘too depressing’, the entire Polish government was killed in a plancrash at the Katlyn Woods where the soviets murdered Polish Officers and intellectuals in 1939 while Stalin’s pal Hitler leveled the western part of Poland. The Polish PM with some witnesses and survivors of the Katlyn Woods Massacre went to Katlyn woods to get a public apology from Putin but the plane crashed!! Not a peep from msm. The Katlyn Woods Massacre had been blamed on the Nazis for years. The Stalin/Hitler little love affair ended when Hitler decided that he did not want a Duel Dictatorship with Stalin and he invaded Russia. Stalin then opened up churches and allowed Russian people to worship God and to live without constant round ups of ‘deviants’ – to work in slave gulags – the Russian people thought that Stalin and his thugs would change after the war and allow them to live in peace. Stalin did not change – he murdered POW’s when they got off the boxcars once in Russia. As an aside; my Mom, who was in the RCAF in England at the time, told me that Canadian/British/American troops were forced to shoot Russian POWs who refused to get in those boxcars to USSR. Sad and shocking.
    Most Americans do not know that FDR was an admirer of Stalin but not of Winston Churchill. M. King (Canada’s PM) was a waste of skin to the Canadian forces – he confided in his dead mother,
    Sooo FDR claimed victory with his pal Stalin leaving Churchill and the commonwealth out of the loop – Britain had exhausted all her resources by this time – they carved up Europe and the schools taught all of us that Stalin had ‘liberated’ Europe, with the ‘help’ of USA and Britain. I was in school at that time so I would know; fortunately I had a Mom and Dad who saw things differently and they had a library with good books (like “the Road to Serfdom” and “the Katlyn Woods Massacre”) for us to read. We read all the time since we were isolated country kids without a TV. When I went to school, I was always talking to walls since no one would listen to anything I had to say; and I never understood why! Think of what kids who love liberty and their country are up against today. If they say too much they are given a dose of Ritalin!

  26. The reason the soviets murdered / sent to the gulags, their returning soldiers that had been held captive in the west (by Germany) as told by Alexander Solzhenitsyn:
    These soldiers of Russia, while held captive, had seen “the good life” … Stalin didn’t want them to tell the “other captives” / other russians..
    Just chew on that one for a moment, life in a western prison camp was better than what they were fighting for?

  27. Thank-you for that quote marc in calgary – we in the west have never known such fear of the ruling forces that the Russian endured for 70 plus years. Like medicine, the dangers to liberty are better prevented than cured; a system is never the same once it has been ravaged.

    Actually, it was bit deeper than that. Hitlerism was more opposed to Communism than Capitalism because commies and fascists were much closer in ideology. But fascists could happily live with capitalists as long as they did the autarch’s bidding.
    Why Hitlerism rather than Fascism? Fascism was invented distinctly by Mussolini, or his mouth-pieces. As long as you did what Musso wanted, there would be no strikes in your factory, your children would be safe and you could profit. He co-opted the bourgoisee.
    Hitler saw the tactical advantages of Fascism but was ideologically and personally driven to enmity to the Communists. Frankly, Hitler added the Hate to Fascism. Remember, if I myself remember correctly, he blamed Garmany’s defeat in WWI on the Socialists. And, interestingly, it was the socialists who were Hitler’s worst enemies, and the first group he took care of.
    So, he disposed of them pronto-quick, literally. He then adopted lock, stock and barrel their economic agenda (Der Volkswagen), relying on the fascist tactics of Mussolini to keep the Capitalists on board (brownshirts and bribes).
    Hitler was many things. Yes he was a racialist, communalist (Der Volk), environmentalist and vegetarian but he was also a socialist, amongst other things. I don’t think he really thought philosophy or ideology. Although he dreamed big, I think he was just tactics and propaganda. But he hated the Communists, who were the real threat to his political goals … that and they were Slavs, an inferior race that must be enslaved to serve the German Volk and provide Liebensraum
    And why? He recognized the only organized Communalist regime that was capable of opposing him.
    How he got it wrong …

  29. I think Holder investigating himself was one bridge too far for the Obama regime.
    But their biggest mistake was to evesdrop parachutists behind the toady MSM telephone lines.
    Now, THAT was definately a bridge too far stupid, it reeks of arrogance; then the call for an off-the-record press briefing? The disconnect with other opinions is staggerring, a sign of arrogance. Obama has lost his press. Perhaps we’ll see some other issues emerge?

    If I may add a little to your comment. Not only did Stalin send returning soldiers who had been in German prisoner-of-war camps, after they were returned to Russia, to labour camps. He also shot former Russian civil war White officers residing France and elsewhere in western Europe who had fought for the Germans and sent their women and the enlisted men to the Gulags.
    Furthermore, when the Germans invaded Russia in 1941, Stalin had any ethnic German heritage men serving in the military to special labour battalions far into the interior of Russia. I know this because some of my father’s male cousins were victims of this. This was probably a favour in hind sight as they probably would have perished as soldiers in the front lines.
