  1. I wonder if Globule News will show the same map indicating the millions of oil spills caused by railroads over the years. Railyards could quite easily be mined for petroleum products.
I am so sick of the so-called “mainstream” media I could puke.

  2. The entire oil sands and every other oil deposit in the world are all natural oil spills, aren’t they???

  3. When Leslie Young & co. stop using all forms of transportation that use oil and stop using all products that are made from oil then I know they’re serious. Until then, they’re just horrible, horrible hypocrites!

  4. If you’re sick of Globull and its leftwing news………
CANCEL YOUR SHAW SERVICES AND TELL THEM WHY!

  5. Why do these media twits want to make Canada and especially Alberta look like bad people destroying the planet. This is our freaking bread basket and chief founder of the Province of Qweebec .

  6. My first oil spill happened when a brand new hose sprung a leak, it was about a teaspoon of oil and we had to write a report.

  7. I recall going to a 5 year old remediation site. They were turning the soil for the upteenth time , meanwhile less than quarter mile away the county was oiling the road
my suggestion that we give the 10 yards of material to the county to spread and re-oil was rejected outright. no logical reason , just no

  8. If they could only see all the oil that is spilled from my leaky old machinery….Yikes!
I probably account for at least 1000 oil spills a year with my old cars, trucks, and tractors.
    Map that, suckers.

  9. Crude oil makes wonderful fertilizer.
I know a guy who swabs old wells [sucks the oil out for sale] and sprays it on his grass.Considering his poor soil he has the greenest grass in the country. Would make Rider fans jealous. Crude oil has lots of plant nutrients [Guess where it comes from] and when used in moderation as all fertilizers produces lush greenery. There are places in fort Mac where breathing apparatus is needed to dig the oil sand up and remote control is used but after the bitumin is extracted you are left with sand.

  10. In other Glowball news, a Toronto man died today after developing septiciema from running out of toilet paper and resorting to the Toronto Star. Seems the toxicity of the news was just to much for his sorry ass. These reporter people are so stupid that is why Justin seems so smart to them, kind of like Sean Penn idolizing Hugo the idiot Chavez. In other news I am working on words to an old song by David Bowie its about Tom Mulcair, I need help for some more lines, the first ones go like this, Angry Tom to frown control/ Got my scowl on ready to go/ Got to show this Turdo how to suck and blow/ Angry Tom to frown control/ help me out

  11. Was a company man for a time northwest of Fort Mac. Company policy was to report every millilitre that hit the ground. That way nothing could come back on us. So, yes, reported spills of 1/2 litres, litres, few litres, etc, etc. DON’T FORGET: The drilling fluids we used were biodegradable, ie, not diesel or anything else like that that would harm the environment.

  12. I would like to see an interactive map of all the birds, bats etc that the “clean energy wind turbines” have killed and compare the real damage done to the environment.

  13. The big numbers in this oil spill scoop would terrify me if I wasn’t almost 367,920 hours old. Every chemical, relatively benign or toxic, has reportable spill regulations. It would be interesting to map ones associated with central Canadian industrial interests.

  14. Maybe we should strip the asphalt from all city streets and turn them back to gravel, just to be on the safe side incase oil residue is leeching into the soil, or washing into the storm sewers.

  15. 28666 spills would amount to 537 spills a year or 1.5 a day or .o625 a minute over the last 50 years of oil production in Alberta.
What do you think the poop output from Victoria B.C into the Pacific Ocean is over the same time frame.

  16. Ignorance is bliss.
The history of Leduc 1 and the Drayton Valley might enlighten these bedwetters.

  17. She lives in a concrete jungle built with CaCO3, steel rebar fluxed with CaCo3, or with trees buzzed down just up the road made outta CARBON and separated by streets paved over with asphalt, with more road ballast made from CaCO3. More CARBON. Her house, if she even owns one, has asphalt shingles, a concrete basement made out of CaCO3, coated in TAR and bricks made from clay that contains CaCO3 and fired in a frigging kiln fueled by bunker C oil. WTF? Probably drives a car to get to the grocery store that burns gasoline. I don’t picture her cycling to work in the Tranna slop in winter at -10C, or packing her groceries on foot in the humid, hot months of summer!
    Prissy little hypocrite, eh?

  18. its Atlantic 3 that had the big blow out , the 40 acre choke.
    Leduc 1 was D2, Atlantic 3 was D3 , the biggun.
