  4. Seems LAS, phil and john were buds, but tragically LAS sucumbs in a fire and his body is burned pretty badly.
    The morgue needed someone to identify the body, so they

    phil arrived first, and when the mortician pulled back the

    You better roll him over.’
    The mortician rolled him over and phil said,
    ‘Nope, ain’t LAS’
    The mortician thought this was rather strange.
    So he brought john in to confirm the identity of the body.
    john looked at the body and said, ‘Yup, he’s
    pretty well burnt up. Roll him over.. ‘
    The mortician rolled him over and john said,
    ‘No, it ain’t LAS’
    The mortician asked, ‘How can you tell?’
    john said, ‘Well, LAS had two asshol*s.’
    ‘What? He had two asshol*s?’ asked the mortician.
    ‘Yup, we never seen ’em, but everybody used to say:
    ‘There’s LAS with them two asshol*s.’

  6. Muzzie shop keeper must have been offended. After all, it is a large Union Jack, being carried by a small pregnant woman, so you can see why he would be intimidated and require a police presence to cart her off the street.
    I’d say good ol’ English bobbies, but then we know it’s the sort of thing every police force in Canada would do if one such a one complained.

  12. I have not seen this readily available, so I thought I would post it here. This is the suicide note (translated) of Dominique Venner who killed himself last week in Notre Dame Cathedral. He protests gay marriage, but also the demise of his culture:
    I am healthy in body and mind, and I am filled with love for my wife and children. I love life and expect nothing beyond, if not the perpetuation of my race and my mind. However, in the evening of my life, facing immense dangers to my French and European homeland, I feel the duty to act as long as I still have strength. I believe it necessary to sacrifice myself to break the lethargy that plagues us. I give up what life remains to me in order to protest and to found. I chose a highly symbolic place, the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris, which I respect and admire: she was built by the genius of my ancestors on the site of cults still more ancient, recalling our immemorial origins.
    While many men are slaves of their lives, my gesture embodies an ethic of will. I give myself over to death to awaken slumbering consciences. I rebel against fate.     What is most disturbing to the Ingrams is that the State Department of Agriculture came in and inspected their hives when they were not home and without due process, took their bees and hives.
