Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

The Liberal Controlled Media, have made a big deal out of this issue. Meanwhile, have kept quiet about Liberals allowing non citizens to vote in every election whether federal provincial or municipal for years and years. How about only being allowed to vote in any election if you have a Canadian Birth certificate, or a Canadian Citizenship card which has to be presented at all ballot boxes in Canada. Now here is a scandal, now dig in you Liberal Bitchez and do something real about voter fraud.
Key sentence is this one.
“The Council of Canadians court challenge was a transparent attempt to overturn certified election results simply because this activist group didn’t like them,”
People with any sense of propriety or shame would be devastated by such a rebuke, however it won’t phase this group one bit.
Just another example of the degenerate left partisan’s reflex to lie and continue lying to protect a lie.
Wow!! I’m amazed. I did’t hear a word of this on CBC. Amazing. (Sarc. off)
No mention in the article that the only confirmed case of robocalls involved the Liberals. I believe that the so-called “Council of Canadians” has tax-exempt status, time to cancel that after this brazen attempt at overthrowing a legitimately elected government.
The Judge showed rare wisdom in his decision. The tactics were so widely scattered that one could only conclude it was the work of like-minded activists determined to embarrass the Conservative Party and keep a faux scandal in front of the public for months.
This Alinsky-style guerilla tactic has kept the CPC on the defensive for over a year, which I believe was the object of the exercise in the first place.
The Left believes that if they keep battering away at the public with scandals real and imagined, eventually the voters will be swayed away from the corruption and fascism of the Conservatives, and into the loving arms of Saint Justin, who won a boxing match, and has nice hair and teeth.
It might work.
A full audit of Elections Canada is now in order.
They are showing a stark lack of professionalism and a degree of activism.
Seeking paperless ballots is grounds for removal in my book.
Given the staggering incompetence of our government employees overall, why should I believe Elections Canada is untainted?

Would that be… THIS Glenn McGregor?

Can you say “Worthless monkey on the Liberal leash”? Sure you can, say it with me now…
“I believe that the so-called “Council of Canadians” has tax-exempt status, time to cancel that after this brazen attempt at overthrowing a legitimately elected ”
Agree 110%,Aviator. Hate to say it,though.PM’Stuck”H hasn’t moved to cancel any other activist “charity”,so I wouldn’t hold my breath. You’d be long dead.
So, what are we up to — and who’s keeping score — again?
1. An advertising expenditure issue, which required the governing party to repay a certain (significant) amount in respect of taxpayer election subsidy, without having to admit guilt.
2. Alleged controversy over theoretical calculations about the cost of a replacement for the CF-18s, which hasn’t been purchased and into which the initial investment had been made by a previous government. This controversy was the subject of the no-confidence motion which precipitated the 2011 election, whose outcome is well-known.
3. Eight government Members of Parliament who have been cleared of wrong-doing in respect of the 2011 general election, and one opposition MP who has been deemed guilty of malfeasance in respect of robocalls.
4. One cabinet minister who resigned voluntarily for writing, by his own admission, an inappropriate letter.
5. One cabinet minister who resigned voluntarily over undeclared election expenses, and who then chose to face a by-election he lost by less than 2,000 votes, in a riding held by one of the opposition parties since, essentially, 1949 (the year of the last act, so far, in Confederation).
6. Three Senators who left the governing party over as yet unproven expense malfeasance (one case is more serious in that it involves criminal charges unrelated to Senate business, one case involves no taxpayer money missing, and one case concerns a Senator who, by all accounts, is co-operating fully with the on-going investigation).
7. A prime ministerial chief of staff who resigned over how he chose, in entirely legal pursuits, to spend his own money.
In seven years. In Canada. I am not making this up.
A culture of corruption? Highly doubtful, actually; in reality, one of the “cleanest” periods in Canadian history.
Besides which, I hope everybody saw Jeffrey Simpson and Craig Oliver on Power Play with Don Martin yesterday afternoon. The link is here, I think:

Progressive’s wanted to use heresay as validation to null and void the electorates’ vote. The radical left are using the courts, the liberal media-spit-and public shaming ala Ford to destroy any opposition to their radical agenda.
Has anybody actually listened to a robo-call? I get them all the time from credit card companies and such and as soon as I hear the computer voice, I hang up. Any one that wants to talk to me has to do so themselves, not via a computer. I would question anyone who actually listened to, and believed what they heard about moving polling places. If they did, they are complete idiots and shouldn’t have the right to vote in the first place.
McGregor is also one of the rats behind the attacks on Duffy — and I believe it is personal in his case. I think McGregor’s investigation of Duffy’s housing claim (something to which he was arguably — but not technically — entitled) was in retaliation for Duffy suing Frank magazine (McGregor’s one time employer)at an earlier point. I think McGegor is totally lacking in professional ethics, and his pal Maher is not much better.
From the article:
“What we can do with that I think is to demonstrate that there was very shady business going on,” said executive director Garry Neil.
Well of course there was”very shady business going on”.
The informed people know that because CeeeBeeeCeee brought the news right here:
“Liberal campaign in Guelph fined for robocalls violation”
http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2012/08/24/pol-robocalls-valeriote-election-violation.html
You’re proud of this?
“Though fraud was at play as a result of the robocalls, the scale didn’t justify wiping out the results of voting, Federal Court Judge Richard Mosley concluded.
“The scale of the fraud has to be kept in perspective,” Mosley wrote in the decision.
“The number and location of the complaints received by Elections Canada from across Canada indicates that the voter suppression effort was geographically widespread but, apart from Guelph (Ont.), thinly scattered.”
Well, Geraldine, being that voter fraud never, ever, happens anywhere in Canada or the USA we really should be ashamed, eh?Cause we really are responsible for this whole mess, really.
Never, ever…really…
Apologies for linking the CBC, but their spin on the story is…. interesting.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2013/05/24/pol-conservatives-database-robocalls.html
So you guys are ok with the fact that there was election fraud. What a shocker.
You realized that you are the super, super rightwing of the rightwing, right? It’s funny how that doesn’t make you examine whether or not maybe you’re crazy.
Can you please be more specific, at all — about the “fraud” and all that?
Plus, can you tell us if you’ve managed to get the Swastika the right way, yet?
Well remembered John Robertson. Elections Canada is, in my opinion, a nest of mutating wimpy pinky bureaucrats. I have been a scrutineer for the Reform, Alliance, Conservative and territorial Conservatives; I speak from experience. PMSH is constantly being back stabbed by government employees who have pals in the msm. This nefarious type arrangement centers around the ilk who become gument employees – they can’t or won’t get a real job and slopping at the public trough will always be tastier and more plentiful with a corrupt left wing gument in power.
Hence, the ruthless, pathetic, attempt to discredit our Prime Minister and patriotic citizens who support the best Prime Minister Canada has ever had.
We love ya too John because every time you come on line it strengthens our appreciation for normal people. Your contribution to most discussions is a tribute to the damage CBC is doing to the brainwashed masses. The one thing that must give you a small degree of comfort is that even your retarded opinions find their way to print where many discussion sites would snicker and delete your post. At least here you can make a fool of yourself and get the pity you work so hard for.
Shocking decision because Rob Ford [the impersonator] hasn’t yet denied being Pierre Poutine, or something like that!.
Liberal mp Frank Valleriot of Guelph was the only found guilty and fined for illegal Robocall by CRTC.
The media are hoping that the less they report on him , the quicker we soon forget. Have we?
I am always fascinated by the CBC Radio News style.
The judgement reads: “The number and location of the complaints received by Elections Canada from across Canada indicates that the voter suppression effort was geographically widespread but, apart from Guelph (Ont.), thinly scattered.”
The CBC, however, used this line to say, three times in one short news report, that the judge confirmed the existence of “widespread fraud”. So that, if the Liberals and/or NDP only persuaded a handful of non-citizen voters to show up at the polls in Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver this would be evidence of “widespread fraud”. Or if they only pay a handful of First Nations voters to turn up two or three times at reserves in three or four provinces, then that, too, would constitute “widespread fraud”. In attempting to spin the decision into an important symbolic victory for the Council of Canadians and an empty Pyrrhic victory for the governments, the CBC renders the judgement incomprehensible.
But no matter, the egregious and ubiquitous Duff Conacher, who by all accounts seems to have some sort of law practice to go to in his spare time, is always available to do his pissy, outraged act on every media outlet.
Non-story of the year
The Council of Canadians.
What is the criteria for joining this joke of a club?
Preening nannyism? A predilection for tax-payer subsidies? Hatred of individual initiative and private enterprise? Laughable arrogance?
